How to populate an array to select a taxonomy reference

I have an ajax callback for typeahead of a taxonomy reference field. In the value part of the array I put the term with a beadcrumb, so if it's Lab, the value looks like Dog > Sporting > Lab The problem I'm having is the key. When I get to the validate function and dump the value of the reference field, the key I use in the select array is in the term->name field, and the term->tid field contains 'autocreate'. I've tried putting just the tid in the array key, then tid:title, title:tid, and finally I used the example (for node reference) in the example module's ajax typeahead example, which is $matches[$term->name . " [$term->tid]"] = $name . $term->name; ($name is the taxonomy breadcrumb). Thanks for replying. <snip> You could use the ip blocking tool in Drupal itself instead of .htaccess. </snip> Yes I have tried this on another site however the protagonist only has to switch is modem of then on and he has a new ip address, or have a couple of hundred pests using the same attempts. We have a couple of hundred attempts using the same [type] but sifferent IP addresses each time. [type] in Reports shows a list including wp-login.php, signup.php or .asp, modules.php, profile.php, register.aspx, reg.php YaBB.cgi, register, blogs, join.php /.pl / .asp and the list goes on and on with entirely different ip addresses for each. I blocked dozens of legitimate users with the Drupal IP blocking because they eventually got the blocked ip addresses. I also set it so that after an number of attempts it blocked the IP but some people are really dumb and cannot enter their user or password consistently and so they too got blocked after 5 attempts. I had to remove it. <snip> All entries with time sum near (or even higher than) the google-bot normally are spammers. The ip-nr looked up in the searche engine mostly gives enough information to justify ip-blocking.</snip> I don't know about this, can someone please explain: time sum near (or even higher than) the google-bot Whois indicates that all emminate from an ISP in Putian city, Fujian province, China,36.248.169.127 Thanks Roger

gallery images are opening in very small size

Hello everyone, I have set up media_gallery with colorbox in http://www.mountvilleresorts.com/. gallery is working fine but gallery images are opening in very small size. you can see screen shot at http://i.troll.ws/ccd2a3c5.png but after opeing again images opens in right size. what is wrong with galleries so images are not opening with proper size at first? thank you

Update list of taxonomy terms on add node form with ajax

I'm looking for explanation how to properly update and display the updated list of taxonomy terms on the form without reloading it. The new term has to be created using user's input as a name. media_gallery module with colorbox

Hi everyone, I want to create photo gallery using media_gallery module ( https://drupal.org/project/media_gallery) one of the requirement is given in https://drupal.org/project/media_galleryis to unpack ColorBox jQuery plugin <http://colorpowered.com/colorbox> in sites/all/library. I downloaded the file colorbox-master.zip and extracted it in sites/all/library so the path of colorbox is sites/all/library/colorbox-master I am able to create gallery but effect of colorbox is not visible. please tell me what extra I have to do to make gallery photo as like overlay. in short my question is how to enable colorbox effect in my gallery? thank you

brilliant_gallery is showing images

Hi everyone, I tried to use brilliant_gallery, its working but not showing images. instead thats showing only black background. I am writing what exactly I did.. 1. I installed lightbox2 as dependency of brilliant_gallery 2. then I installed brilliant_gallery 3. then I created albums in sites/default/files 4. then I created images in sites/default/files/album; and copied some images in that 5. then I went to Input format and enabled Full HTML format to recognize Brilliant Gallery Tag 6. in admin/config/brilliant_gallery/settings i added "albums" in Main gallery folder 7. added a new text field to basic content type to add the path of image folder. in display option i set brilliant gallery option for display 8. while create new node i am putting path of image directory as "images" could anyone tell me where I have missed something? I am not able to see images but instead I am seeing black background. thanks in advance

Does anyone have some steps for configuring a podcast page that I can easily add audio files to, and in turn, that an RSS feed will update as new files/podcasts are added? I don't see a specific podcast module, but see lots of mention of using Views. Can anyone assist? With kind regards, Stuart Lawler

Autocomplete

In D7, I have added a field to the article content type. A taxonomy reference with autocomplete. I need to customize the autocomplete behavior. I tried the following: 1. hook_form_alter to change the autocomplete path 2. hook_menu to register the path as a callback 3. create the callback function and have it do a simple print Prior to doing this, typing in the field would fire autocomplete as expected. And I also see the communication in the console of firebug. Having made the two changes, I see the new path in the correct place in the form field, but nothing happens when I type in the field other than the characters appearing...the logic isn't fired and firebug shows no communication. I also tried registering the original autocomplete path with a different callback. Same result.
