CCK and i18n - some fields should not be translateable

Hello all, I have node with decimal field price. This price should be equal for all translations of node, meaning if price is edited on one language it should be updated on all translations automatically as well. Is it possible to achive that out of a box in Drupal? Is there any module that deals with it? thanks, Bojan

Including images in stories

What's the best way to include an image in a story? What I've been doing so far is making the image an attachment to the story, disabling listing of the attachment, and referencing the image file directly with an HTML <img> tag in the body. Is that the right thing to be doing, or is there something more straight-forward? I'm thinking of our less technical contributors who don't want to be messing with HTML directly, but still want to include images in-line with stories.

show submenu in block when parentmenu is clicked

Hi, I'm trying to achieve something that seems simple, but is really killing me :( This is Drupal 6.1 I have some primary links. When I click one of these links I would like a submenu to appear in a block elsewhere on the page - that's really all (for now). I just can't get it working - I've looked through every module and a lot of functions in the d6 api, but no luck so far. and deadline is closing in - yikes! cheers Morten

DHTML Menus

Hello, I installed the DHTML Menus module on my site (using Drupal 5), and cannot get the menus to expand without refreshing the entire page. Could this have anything to do with the hosing companies settings? I tired moving the DHTML Menus director from /sites/default/modules/dhtml to /sites/all/modules/dhtml and also to the /modules directory under the main directory containing the Drupal install. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you, Troy

Timetable / Calendar in 6.1

Hello together, I'm planning to make a Timetable for a radiostation in Drupal 6.1 Are there any modules for that? It should look like a week-view in Outlook or Thunderbird Lightning or whatever Calendar-App you have, think they do all look the same ;) Thanks for answers, Robert

Untranslatable string!

I have my site also in Italian and there's a string I don't seem to be able to translate. It's the CAPTCHA explanation: "This question is for testing whether you are a human visitor and to prevent automated spam submissions." In the captcha.module, we find: $default = t('This question is for testing whether you are a human visitor and to prevent automated spam submissions.'); When I go to Strings in the Localization settings, the string is found, I put the Italian translation and it continues to show English. I've cleared drupal cache tables, browser cache and even run cron manually. And then waited 24 hours and the string is still showing in its original English. When I go to Strings again, it shows as being translated into Italian (the "it" is not crossed through)...so I'm at my wit's end. I've never seen anything like it...is there any other reason why a string translation just won't "take" ? Neil

Also, one thing that is left out in this chain was that I had to add the $link['html'] parameter to the l() function (it's at the top of the for loop to generate each item) so that my <img> tags would be written out as HTML. Notice that I also added a class to the <li> tag for each item so that I could specifically target it with CSS. Another interesting thing that I discovered has to do with the CSS to display the buttons. For some reason (and if somebody could explain this, that would be great), getting the buttons to display inline without any spaces between them didn't work with this CSS: ul.links-menu li { display:inline; list-style-type:none; } This left spaces between the images (making it too wide for the page), even when there was no padding or margins set on any of the selectors. With the help of a designer friend of mine, I changed it to ul.links-menu li { display:block; float:left; list-style-type:none; } and they display just fine. As for the mouseover functionality, I haven't been able to get that to work yet. I've tried using a:hover with my class selector that I added, like this: li.home a:hover { background-image: url(images/btn_homeup.jpg); } but no dice. If anyone has a suggestion for doing this, I'm all ears. Hi All, I have created a digg/reddit clone using drupal here http://newskicks.com i want to display the list of users who have voted +1 and -1 in a block.is there anyway i can do it using views?i think if i pass the argument as node id then i can write the argument handling code in views but i am not able to figure out how to get this done and displaying that in a block. any help will be appreciated. Photo gallery and audio media

Hello everyone again, I tried to install and activate the modules to create audio content and photogallery but I have some problmes with both. First,about photogallery, I couldn't understand how can I create it after that I cativated the moudle. Second, about audio module, I can't understand why I can't upload the audio file to create an audio content. I even tried with files of different sizes but it seems that it doesn't work. Taxonomy on node template

Hello, how can I place the taxonomy content on the template? <?php print $node->taxonomy[12]->name ?> If I do that I only see the terms when the taxonomy is the number 12.
