File Revisioning Like ExponentCMS

Hello everyone, I would like to implement file revisioning on my web site in a similar fashion to Exponent CMS (see attached file). To summarize, Exponent allows users to download a file, and then upload a file to replace the current file. When the file is replaced, a revision is made. If desired, the user may lock the file so no one else may edit it while they perform edits. The file is also given a title which does not change regardless of the underlying file name. This has worked very well for maintaining our organization's membership list on-line. One person performs maintenance on membership data, and another person uses the Excel file to print out labels for mailing newsletters. Does any one have ideas on how to replicate this functionality in Drupal? The locking functionality is not important, but the other functionality is "would be nice." Sincerely, Kevin

create nodes without any body

Hi, I can create nodes with several node types (page, book ..I havent tested all) without entering anything under 'body' even though it is a required field (and has a red asterisk) how does the 'required' logic work? I ask because 'title' works correctly..it doesnt let a node to be submitted unless the title is filled -v

Versioning/Undelete

Hello, Is there a module which allows you to add versioning to a node's history? I'm looking to replace a CMS which has content versioning (and diffs) for all main content. It also doesn't delete content but marks it to be deleted. A future version was planned that would allow a user to view and easily undelete content (or empty the trash), but that hasn't been implemented yet in this other CMS. I looked in the contributed modules, dug about in the lists a bit but couldn't find anything all that conclusive. Except perhaps the use of the textile module. Does anyone know if such a module exists? If not would there be interest from a few folks to fund the migration of this functionality to Drupal? Drupal 4.6.4 / 4.5.6 released

Hello world, Drupal 4.6.4 is available for download. Drupal 4.6.4 is a maintenance release that fixes problems reported using the bug tracking system, as well as 3 security vulnerabilities (two "less critical", one "not critical") that affect all previous versions of Drupal. Since the vulnerabilities are also present in the Drupal 4.5 series, Drupal 4.5.6 is released as well. Upgrading your existing Drupal sites is strongly recommended. Is there anything I need to do to make sure these messages appear on php template themes? They appear on my xtemplate themes, but do not appear on my phptemplate themes. Thanks, V

Mohammed, If I am not mistaken, this can be set in the Goofy configuration? Did you check there? I think the last time I worked with Goofy (a few months ago) I was able to set that in the configuration? Or am I wrong? dear list, thanks for everybody who offered help in changing the colors, specially kobus, that is now successfully done. my second issue and I think may be the final issue, is there a way I can intigrate mission and slogon into the goofy theme? goofy colors

dear lists, hello. this time I am working on my personal website with a friend of mine who's sighted, she is helping me with the look of the site and we're customising the goofy theme. the site in question is at: www.mystop.net can anybody look at it, adn by looking at the style.css file that comes with it, tell me how to change the yellow color in the upper frame? we tried alot and we've been able to change all the colors except for that one. thank you. mohammed.

Mohammed, You would have to change the graphics that is in the "images" folder of the goofy theme. Simply copy all the graphics to a new folder (never work on your only copy!) and then edit them one by one with a photo editor. If you don't have any, you may find many useful ones at www.tucows.com. Once you are done editing the pictures and are sure it is correct, upload them into the "images" folder of your goofy theme in your web space. This is a bit of a tough job to do if you've never done this before, and if you can wait a few days, I will do it for you.
