Import XML Documents

I would like to create a series of documents that could easily be published on my Drupal site as well as in a print format. The obvious way is to create them as XML documents. Does Drupal support XML? TIA Sue

profile value question

Hi, I have a profile field whose value is dynamically generated in code. How do I save the field? $user->profile_fieldname="node/$nid"; profile_save_profile($user); I have also tried profile_save_profile($user,"fieldname") but its expecting something for &$edit. What is the correct way of saving profile? Thanks, V

groups/permissions with drupal 4.6

Hi-Jacked Email Identity (possibly OT?)

Hello, I wonder if anyone else has experienced the following phenomenon, and whether or not it is Drupal-related, and might possibly have an idea as to the next course of action to take... The following did not occur until AFTER I started using Drupal (a few months ago), though I have had my site and domain name for several years. Essentially, what I keep getting on a more-than-daily basis is emails with SUBJ: Delivery Status (failure) FROM: postmaster@ Following the @ would be the domain of NUMEROUS domains that were hit, with attempted delivery to hundreds of email addressees. And that's just the bogus ones--who knows what actually got through. My domain is now being filtered by MSN's anti-spam and who knows how many others. I am angry enough to offer any interested lawyer 100% of the awarded fines in return for assistance in tracking these people down and filing a lawsuit. As to Drupal... at first I thought it might be that one of the add-on modules I'd installed was insecure. Before diving into the code, I simply disabled Email-This-Page module and Subscribe module. And the problem still persists. My next idea would be to pull down the entire site and put up a simple "Down for Maintenance" page and see if the problem persists. Any ideas, folks? Show a different theme with multisite

Hi. I discovered today the feature in the settings.php file, of overriding a configuration variable. I'm using it for having in "beta.example.net" exactly the same of the main site, "example.net", but with a different theme. My question is: can this be a source of problems? It's a good idea? I don't know very much about database access, but I'm concerned of if this can lead to problems in the database, for example, with Drupal IDs, sessions, cache, or whatever. Maybe a solution is turn the "beta.example.net" secondary site to read only, but I can't find a way of doing this after doing some searches. Ron, This is in your apache httpd.conf file, or alternatively in the included vhosts.conf file for apache. Where this lives depends on your distribtution. In mine (redhat) it's in /etc/httpd/conf. Here's a sample of the drupal configured snippet.
