Within the ubercart documentation it states the following:
Once a customer is granted a download they can go to My account > Files to download the file.
If the user generates an order and then the admin user edits the order so that the full cost of the order is paid so that the order balance goes down to 0 and the order status goes from pending to payment received.
My question is how do I get ubercart to grant a download after the order status changes from pending to payment received?
Thanks,
John Mitchell
Are you using File downloads module for ubercart. More information like link to the ubercart documentation u are reading, ubercart version and the modules u have enabled and using would be helpful.
I have cc'ed Mukesh Agarwal who has recently built a similar system hopefully he will be able to help.

Can you please give a little more explanation about the error/warning that you receive when your order is complete and you don't get the file download link?
There are 2 ways by which you can download files from products that you have purchased:
1. Email -> The buyer gets an email with a one time link to download the file (is your mail server working? do you receive any email as invoice or order statement) 2. Account Settings -> When you go to your account (or the next time you login), you can see a link from where you can access all the files that you have purchased.
Need more information to be able to make this work for you :-)

I figured out why the download file did not show up it was because the download is triggered when the order is set to Complete and not when it is set as Payment Received.
But now I have a different problem because I had deleted all my products and enabled and disabled a number of modules and now when trying to create content for a product it does not show a SKU and a price to assign to the product. Once the content is saved then the listed product does not show a shopping cart and price which it did show before I deleted all the products.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I think that I will have to disable all the ubercart modules and then enable all of them so that I can get back to where I was before.

I the fixed the issue of the SKU and price not showing up when creating a product by disabling all the ubercart modules and then enable all of them so that I can get back to where I was before.

1. Ubercart conditional action (Notify customer when a file is granted) will send e-mail to customer with a link to download file. 2. Like you said Go to My account > file tab and download the file
#1 has some bugs see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1902848/drupal-ubercart-file-download-lin... http://drupal.org/node/479836
Listed below I have a conditional action for "Update order status on full payment" but I see nothing within Condition actions for "grant a file" or "grant a download" when a full payment has occurred.
