Hi All In a local linux m/c (ubuntu 10.04 LTS), I am hosting Drupal 7.14 . I did check with different browsers. I see lot of unusual things.
1. Windows XP IE8 crashes, tries to debug with visual studio 2. Mozilla 10 , Nice menus looks odd, does not look like a drop down menu, looks as normal links down side.
Did anybody face such issues, can somebody point me what I need to do to avoid these.
Thanks kamal
Came to know from http://drupal.org/node/1352378 that, showing the body image makes site crash in IE8. I just commented it. Next it is not crashing. But I got now issues to resolve 1. The second site bar block (Zen sub theme), not showing up in footer are. 2. How do I show the background image.
Few guys have advised in above link, that showing the background image by class, they have avoided IE8 crash. Can somebody please tell how to show the background image by class.., its bit new for me...
Also How do I enforce the block to show up in right side instead of buttom area.
Thanks Austin

I have a suggestion that I think we should put into an appropriate place if you guys agree.
I'm setting up messaging...
Enter the recipient, separate recipients with commas.
* Enter the name of a role to write a message to all users which have that role. Example: authenticated user. * Enter a user name to write a message to a user
This for example makes perfect sense to us. It's doesn't work for my 'users'.
I need "Enter Y for Yani... "
How will I fix this? Search for the text and where it is in the module I'll change it. Not great for updates but gets the job done.
Which brings me to the point. It would be useful if the module developers anticipated themeing requirements and published them in a collective repository.
What do you think?
