You might look at Mobile Tools. I supposedly will switch themes based on browser detections. Then you could enable or disable blocks for your specific mobile theme.

For one of our Drupal based existing website, we were trying to hide the blocks if it is visited from mobile browser. But it is not possible / no function available in core Drupal block functionality. Is there any module / alternative way to hide the blocks in Mobile browser but not in normal browsers?

Any pointers..?
