Dear all,
On a D7 site, admin/reports/status says there should be a .htaccess file in the temporary directory. However this directory is in /tmp so outside of the docuemnt root and moreover a file there would be removed at each system startup so would have to be re-installed.
Should the temporay directory for Drupal be somewhere else?
Many thanks for any help about this!
Shérab.
I believe there's an issue opened on this. I've seen where many have moved their tmp directory to other folders, including inside the webroot, but I have left it as /tmp on client sites as that's much more secure.
