A few days back i put my drupal website online on my web hosting.Now i am trying to make a few changes in the User Interface in the files
1)page-front.tpl.php 2)page.tpl.php
which are in the themes folder of the particular theme.The changes work when i make it on localhost but are not reflected when i make these changes on the live website by editing the files through ftp.Please if anyone could help urgently.My web hosting is bluehost.com
Try clearing caches after the changes. In admin -> cnfig -> performance.

Make sure you've cleared the cache. If you have page caching on (which you should), you won't see theme changes reflected for anonymous users until you clear the cache.

admin_menu has an easier way to clear caches.
