Hi,
Recently I cleaned up a site that I run and deleted a user I had created just to test some things out (user/2). There were a few nodes in the database that were marked with uid 2. Logged in as user/1 I then found that the nodes marked as uid 2 were inaccessible - to logged-in users, anonymous users and anyone, regardless of any access rules I had created. Editing the affected nodes via PHPMyAdmin and setting the UID to 1 has restored access again.
This is on the latest 4.6.5.
Has anyone else found this?
Tim

This is a known issue. Please search and use the issue queue [ http://drupal.org/project/issues/drupal ] for reporting bugs, requesting features etc.

I also have had this issue and been searching for the answer (on drupal.org and beyond) for *years* since the users are not phantom users. Apparently, when I moved from Scoop some weird db anomalies surfaced in the uid fields. Thank to Tim, I have finally found a workaround.
The only issue I found that is perhaps related is this one:
Is this the bug you refer to?
Thanks, Brady

and there are a few others that have been marked dupes.

Thanks for that - problem is that searches using terms like "delete", "user" and "access denied" tend to throw up unhelpful amounts of hits!

The issue search page is generally very effective.

I like to use the generic issues search page, and then I can fine-tune the search rather well.
