Hello world,
Drupal 4.6.4 is available for download. Drupal 4.6.4 is a maintenance release that fixes problems reported using the bug tracking system, as well as 3 security vulnerabilities (two "less critical", one "not critical") that affect all previous versions of Drupal. Since the vulnerabilities are also present in the Drupal 4.5 series, Drupal 4.5.6 is released as well. Upgrading your existing Drupal sites is strongly recommended.
More information about the Drupal 4.6.4 and 4.5.6 release is available at http://drupal.org/drupal-4.6.4.
Security advisories are available at http://drupal.org/security.
Kudos to the security team for their work on getting these releases out,

don't mean to sound like a smart arse, but is this the *same* 4.6.4 i downloaded just over 24 hours ago when i got an update on the drupal security rss feed?
Upgrading your existing Drupal sites is strongly recommended.
i have done.

i was worried as this page disappeared for a large portion of today and there is some talk on the forums about this update being withdrawn for some reason.
Kudos to the security team for their work on getting these releases out,
no doubt about that.

Most likely a memor issue. please look at /var/logs/apache2/error.log and grep/search for "memory".
If you find anything there, lpease look in the FAQ on drupal.org for the solution of that memory issue.

From messages on the drupal site, it appears that 4.6.4 wasn't quite ready
to be released. From what I read, a lot of people installing it had to reload 4.6.3 to keep their sites up!
Due to all these problems, I think I'll wait quite a while before I "upgrade" to this version.
Is there any idea or a projected date when they'll have it functional?
Thanks, Skip

Unfortunately 4.6.4 seems to have a serious bug which doesn't let users to post comments, since the comment form has no width, see http://drupal.org/node/39494
The produced XHTML:
<textarea wrap="virtual" cols="70" rows="10" name="edit[comment]" id="edit-comment" class="textarea required">-- NSK, Wikinerds.org Admin/Owner: http://nsk.wikinerds.org</textarea>
The problem is the " instead of " in the XHTML code.
I guess I was wrong about not having any issues with these patches. I applied all three to a 4.6.3 install.
And now these errors keep popping up:
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '1 AND uid != 0' at line 1 query: SELECT * FROM user WHERE uid IN 1 AND uid != 0 in /home/apockot/public_html/includes/ database.mysql.inc on line 66.
