Hi Folks,
I need to express a tree of data with "drill down". I start with a view that collects all the top level content as links to the next level deep and there is where I stumble. I don't know how to express this second level such that it can be addressed by the links in the top level, and I don't know how to express the link in the top level.
Any help?
Chris.
You might want to try the awesome Hierarchical Select: http://drupal.org/project/hierarchical_select
Check out this demonstration: http://wimleers.com/demo/hierarchical-select/taxonomy
This module is not yet quite working in d7 Views as an exposed filter but there has been a work around module that was posted: Views Hierarchical Taxonomy Filter

If you have more than two levels, how about using ajax to dynamic loading sub-level?
Cheers, Eric

Hi Eric,
I dream of the day my understand of Drupal is sufficient to do things like this. My understanding of all things code is fine, but that is simply vocabulary with nothing to discuss. Drupal is opaque and with diligent research I understand how it works now from a site building perspective, but from a developer perspective, I'm still completely lost. The interfaces are horrifically complex, minutely faceted and still quite beyond my understanding.
If I could only find a good debugger, "... but I get no offers; just a come on from the whores on Seventh Avenue." (Apologies to Simon and Garfunkel)
