I have around 25 roles and 20 modules. The interface is very hard to use (too wide, too long)
Has anyone done work on a different interface for access control?
If I wanted to get a seperate page for each role, how would I achieve that? Can a more practical display be achieved just using css? (considering the table is hardcoded)

I think there was some work done there http://drupal.org/node/30843 But it's a little old.

There are many projects and issues on this. With loads and loads of (somethimes really silly) solutions for this. So far nothing working and even close to good has been presented. not in 4-6-X and neither in 4-7-x
