Preventing an "add to cart" button when clicked to going to another page and just increment to the shopping cart
Hi,
If I already have an ubercart shopping cart within the right sidebar block can I configure my Product content type so it does not go to another page when the "add to cart" button is clicked and just increments to the shopping cart (that is contained within the right sidebar block) which it already does.

Go to Administer > Store Administration > Configuration > Cart settings > Cart settings tab In the "Add to cart redirect" textbox, enter '<none>'. That should give you the desired behavior.

Doing the below does prevent it from going to another page, but it still refreshes the current page. Is their a way for it to just increment the shopping cart, but not refresh the page?

Yes, I enabled the "Ajax shopping cart" in the right sidebar and the shopping cart does get updated but the page also gets refreshed which is not supposed to happen.

I have the ajax shopping cart behaving as expected in that the webpage is not refreshed and only the shopping cart is refreshed when you click the "add to cart" link.
But when I have a view which contains OpenLayers data which contains an "product:Add to Cart form" field within it and you click on the "Add to Cart" button the shopping cart does get updated but the page also gets refreshed which is not supposed to happen.

It appears that when it is a popup with an "add to cart" button that it does not go through the uc_ajax_cart but instead goes through the default ubercart cart which refreshes the page.
Attachment of the popup window which contains the add to cart link that when clicked on refreshes the page instead of going through ajax.
