We migrated some sites to D7 but could not find any module for page-break for longer stories. Can you point me to some modules for d7?

Would story types possibly help, they are meant for continuous flow of text from page to page.

You may want to create a body field that is allowed more than one entry for the page and then assign that to your content type. I have not tried this yet but in theory it should work for what you want.

Thanks. But we have a lot of already published stories (some 100s) and that's not a feasible solution. The developer of Pagination module seems to have abandoned the project.
