Folks: I just added a menu to a submenu of primary-links menu. When I saved this menu, some of the pages no longer show and I can't get the admin page to show, as well as the side menu disappears for the home page, and others. This is REALLY TERRIBLE, because I've spent a lot of time building this site, don't have a very recent backup, and ...... crap!
Does anybody have a trick that will let me get my pages to show again? I did back up the database and deleted the link to the offending menu, but I'm afraid something got corrupted. I can hardly bear the thought of starting over.
My site is: http://es.earthednet.org/
If anybody is willing to look at this, please contact me at prothero@geol.ucsb.edu . I will give you my admin login info. It is still possible to log in.
Thanks, Bill

It appears to be a theme issue. The #main-body div is being shifted over due to a fixed-height on the #horiz-menu container.
In template.css, removing the height attribute of #horiz-menu seems to fix it in Firefox. See http://imagebin.ca/img/BFcL6l.png
So, delete "height: 41px;" line 173 of template.css

Carl, that is SO AWESOME! A complete fix in minutes, amazing! You have truly turned this from a very discouraging day into a very nice day. Thanks!
Looks like I've got to get into using Firefox so I can find these errors myself. So, if you can bear with me just a bit more, what did you do to find the error so fast? I have FF and Firebug installed. Or, is it just that you know Drupal so well that you went to the right place? The best, Bill

Carl: After thinking a few minutes, I see that the last menu I added was wrapped, shifting the entire display to the right, so I couldn't see the content. Anyway, thanks again. Very easy fix, but troublesome for a newby like me. Regards, Bill

Happy to help, Bill. The Firebug extension allows one to right-click on an page element and "Inspect element" which allows traversal of the DOM and analysis of CSS property source. This is essentially the screenshot I posted. The Firebug wiki may be of assistance http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
