I have set up a primary menu, and when you click on the first element, the menu opens fine If you click on any of the submenu items, the menu reverts to being closed when it goes to the next page.
Example
Developer (/developer) -- Resource (/resource) -- Compliace (/compliance)
clicking on developer opens the submenu clicking on Resource or Compliace closes the menu back, but lans on the correct destination page
The _administration_ menu maintains the open menu when you are on any of the nodes
Is there a setup or naming convention that needs to be followed which allows for this behaviour to persist?
I have also tried URL laiasing Resource to /developer/resource and that didnt work either
Also - I have not installed any menu modyfing modules
Thanks in advance.
we're having a lot of problems using the tiny mce editor on os x tiger with firefox. the editing box doesn't render properly, you have to keep redrawing the page to use it.
anyone else struggling with this? any ideas?

Hi all, My drupal site suddenly started displaying an error that I cannot make sense of...nor do I know what to do. I have been using Drupal to run a poetry magazine online and a writer's community. Poetry submissions come in via the drupal submission queue. I haven't made any changes to the site code or any admin changes or any changes at all to the site. Thus the site error comes as quite an unexpected and confusing surprise. The error message is listed below... I hope that this can be fixed. I don't want to loose the many poems submitted and published and those awaiting publication. It would be over a year's worth of published poems that could be lost. Can someone help me, please, with this problem. The error is included below. Please let me know if you have any idea what I can do. I had thought that some backups were being made by someone helping me maintain the site but I cannot be sure if there is a recent backup available on the site.
Error message>>> Fatal error: Duplicate entry '0' for key 2 query: INSERT INTO sessions (sid, uid, hostname, timestamp) VALUES ('8cbce4316d9b4797ef37e81fee84a52f', 0, '68.213.148.90', 1168370359) in /home/brucew/public_html/home/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66

What version of Drupal do you run? Did your host update php and/or mysql? You should be able to get a backup through phpmyqadmin.
Cheers, Gerhard
This site uses Drupal 4.6.5 I never upgraded this site. I was not wanting to install the modules again and worry about loosing any data... the poems. This error appeared without any changes to the code or any admin changes being made, like I mentioned. My web hosting provider said this is not covered as it is a software issue. I thought if it was a problem with the php/mysql code that would only show up if I did something new or different with the site - if I had added a module or created a block or added a theme. None of that happened.
I use cpanel to manage the site(s) and I do have phpmyadmin Thanks, Bruce

That's a bad idea. If you don't upgrade your site, then you might lose data as then some people might exploit security vulnerabilies and delete it.
Updating to 4.6.11 should be perfectly safe and I think will resolve your problem.

Bruce,
I get these every now and then on a number of sites and servers. I couldn't find much info on it and the sites still seem to be running fine. I would love to get details on how to resolve.

When I've seen similar messages, it's because user 0 ("anonymous") was missing from the database. To test this, do the following from the mysql prompt:
mysql> SELECT * FROM users WHERE uid=0;
and see if that returns a row. If it doesn't, that's your problem. Add it back:
mysql> INSERT INTO users (uid) VALUES (0);
and see if that takes care of it. Some more details here: http://drupal.org/node/34847
I did have to try a few different things to get this to work but it did return the first row using phpmyadmin. Any other ideas are very welcome, please. Bruce

The only time I've seen this is when I'm running Drupal through a debugger (Zend) and I kill it part way through. It works again after I refresh the page, though.
The session table contains state information for users currently logged into the site. Depending on your site, it may be safe to simply flush that table (along with the cache table). It's a not-uncommon thing to do before moving a site from one server to another. Any users currently logged in will get kicked out, and if you have any save-in-session features enabled those will be lost as well, but neither should be a permanent problem nor should doing so affect unpublished nodes. (Only you know if that's an acceptable trade-off.)

I'm not sure what you mean by flushing the table - not sure which table you mean or how to do that. Sorry for my ignorance. I also can point out, if it helps to know, that I haven't moved the site or done any debugging, or anything to the site. It was up fine one day and then it wasn't. It hasn't loaded up once since this error first appeared. Bruce

My guess after looking at the system.install file for version 5 is that you already have the sid stored in the DB sessions table. The sid is the primary key and is the second key added to the table. There are no other unique keys identified.

There are several reasons that can cause this: * The host updating, or changing MySQL, without follosing proper preocedures. * A database crash. * Some unknown random database hiccup (e.g. due to hardware problems).
In all cases the database got corrupted. Since sessions is the table with most read-write activity on most sites, it will have the most effect on this table.
In 90% of the cases this command on the commandline will help: mysqlcheck -uroot -p --auto-repair -A
And if it does not work, it will at least show you when there were errors found in the database.

Will,
Thanks for the screenshots. TinyMCE is certainly misbehaving. You really may want to uninstall and reinstall TinyMCE just to see if that helps. When I have had problems (though not this problem) with TinyMCE, it is generally an issue with a setting for TinyMCE or an input format issue. There are also some javascript scripts that need to load properly via the theme/drupal for TinyMCE to function. Maybe something is going on there?
