Documentation on Image module

Hi all, I was wondering where I could find some documentation on using the Image, and Image_assist modules. Selecting read documentation for drupal.org/project/modules/image pulls up a page with a brief snippet, but not any documentation of how to use the Image module features. Does anyone have or know of any documentation on this module? Or similar ones, i.e. Gallery, which has no documentation either, so far as I could tell looking at the project/modules pages? Can anyone send some examples of how you used Images, photo albums in a site? Like a link to such a site that might display a photoalbum with captions using modules for Drupal, along with a description of how you did it, what modules were used and in what way? Problems with image module

Hello list, I'm having odd problems with drupal 4.6.4 and the image module. I have created my first image gallery, but when I load the page, not every thumbnail shows up, only few display, and others don't (missing images?). If you reload the page, you have a random effect: it could happen that thumbnails that were missing in the previous screen display correctly this time, and images that displayed correctly now are missing! Try yourself: <http://musimac.it/image/tid/47> Tried with Firefox 1.5 Mac/win, Safari, IE 6 Win. Using the page info option within Firefox, I see that missing thumbnails are served as text/html (reloading the page, images that were previously served as image/jpeg could be served as text/html and vice versa!!!) I'm running 4.6.5 and found some users were copying and pasting from Word into blogs via tinymce. Probably when making the MS-HTML saner, it appears that entire articles or at least many para's were wrapped in a single <p> pair. line 197 of node.module should split a long para. at the end of the first sentence, but for some reason it was failing. I edited the blog entry, manually reformatted the paras, and presto! the teaser was applied just fine. Should really report this as a bug, i suppose. People with Administer Nodes permission can change the owner, modify any content, as well as override comment/publishing defaults. When I did a quick test yesterday, I just got rid of && ($user->uid == $node->uid) and what happened was the people that weren't the author couldn't delete even though is was under the if 'delete' || 'update'. Not sure why, but that was the behaviour. I found it interesting as well, that the author immediately changed to the new editor, which was a little unwanted/unexpected. I guess there is a hook somewhere to allow users with the 'edit all stories' permission to edit the author information as well... currently I think only user 0 can do that. How-to allow other users to edit content created by others

How do I allow other users to edit content others have created? For example, user1 creates a story. user1 can edit the story. How can I give user2 rights to edit the story as well? There is a permission for "edit own content" under stories but there is no "edit all content" under stories. This seems like a severe limitation to me. Thanks, David

The solution for your problem is that, In the emailpage.module file there is a line of code: ---> $nodelink=$base_url.'/'.url('node/view/'.$_GET['nid']."#comment and ---> $nodelink=$base_url.'/'.url('node/view/'.$_GET['nid']); just what you should do delete 'view/' from both the lines...and save it. Please keep replies on-list so that everyone can see them. Beyond setting up Drupal itself, there's not much configuration needed. 1) Install Drupal. 2) Enable the "blog" module and "comment" module. (admin/modules) 3) Give "edit own blog" permission to whichever class of users you want (admin/access). 4) Configure comments to your preference (admin/comments). All users with that permission now have a blog/uid path that is their personal blog. RSS feed is created automagically. Profiles Modules

Hi, this may seem very nooblish but I cant seem to find any fields in the database where the members addition information is stored. We created extra fields for a MMMOPRG guild site, fields such as "main charactor" "2nd charactor" and such. Yet when I run a query of fields for this information under "profile_fields" or "profile_value" none of the additional information is shown. Can someone point me to the right table. Thank you.

Hi. I have created a new node call "zbnews" that derive from story node. I can insert, see, and update my node. how to remove lines from site ?

Hi all , how to remove lines from site ? We are using drupal 4.6.5 with box_grey_smarty theme . But we don't wants lines in our websites . We want plain view no line for bock or for top and bottom . Is that possible ? I am sending screen shot .
