constructing CCK node by hands....

Hi all, i'm trying to implement the following feature in my site. I want the user select the path where he uploaded images. That's ok. Now my problem. I want to scan that directory (ok, i follow image_import) and then i want to build up a cck node by hand. The node would have image, reference to the user that uploaded it, date and other infos (taken from the first form). Then i want to turn it into a ecommerce product. How can i accomplish these two things? I can' figure out code to create CCK node by hands, neither the way to make a node a file product by hand. Complex CCK data type - multiple fields

Hi, How would I go about building a complex CCK data type? The one I have in mind might be e.g. the different formats available for a "book" node: Format Width Height Depth Weight ---------------------------------------------- Hardback 15cm 24cm 2cm 14oz Trade pback 14cm 22cm 1.5cm 10oz Paperback 10cm 15cm 1cm 6oz Should I store each row as a flattened text field with delimiters e.g "Hardback&15&24&2&14", and let hook_widget() unflatten it prior to editing? Or can CCK store complex data types unflattened? Given the form chunk to edit each row would be five input fields, can hook_widget() cope with making this whole block "multiple" easily enough? Would it need to be defined in form API as a multiple'd fieldset? Cheers, J-P

Clean URL's

CCK define filter for text areas

Hi, When I add a mulit-line text input to a CCK content type, and selecter 'filtered', is there anyway I can define which filter to use for that textarea? Thanks, Richard

Font-resizer within content?

Hello, I'm working on a site for someone in Drupal 5.1, and they really want a font resizer on the page. I came across this page: http://www.champaign.org/help_and_how_to.html In the main content area, there's a gif that changes font size for just the content area. Any idea if this is possible in Drupal? Anybody found a good font resizer for Drupal? - jody

Dear list, I'm having some problems getting autocomplete to work. I think the problem is in the durpal_to_js() function. Drupal best practices workflow

To maintain most of our web pages, we make use of three virtual servers: dev (it's own branch for developing new stuff), qa (where new pages are tested and all stakeholders can look at them in situ before they go live), and production (updated via cvs checkout only). What is best practice for achieving a similar workflow with a database-backed CMS like Drupal? What works? I can accept that for new content, workflow might be different in the sense that pages will be viewed by those who can log in and check out pre-pub pages, although I'd rather have something closer to our traditional process. For design changes/new features on our test sites we have been doing some hairy database refreshes/pop in the changes/test/pop back to the live site hoping that there isn't any new content there that we are overwriting circuits, or just as problematic, the "it looks good on dev or qa, so copy the content and past it into the live site". I am pretty sure that neither of these approaches "good practice," much less "best practice" ;-). Many thanks, Ari

There are known problems with 1.3. When drupal.org comes back up, check the issue queue for image. Hi, i am a newbie to Drupal. I was wondering if the AJAX form builder module is working well (it wasn't clear to me from the description on the website)? Also, i was wondering if it possible to use the cck to build forms or is that not really for what it is intended? thanks for putting up with (probably) stupid questions mat
