url() create a strange path

Hi all. I'm creating a little class for interface Drupal to a internal web application (all via php language). I have created this function (that is a part of a class) and I call it from a file called temp/1.php: public function shoplastnews() { $this->setDirTheme(); $view = views_get_view('l1'); $view->is_cacheable = 0; views_sanitize_view($view); $tmp2 = views_build_view('items',$view,array(),false,5); $ret = array(); $i = 0; foreach($tmp2['items'] as $key => $data) { //print_r($data); $node = node_load($data->nid); $ret[$i]['nid'] = $node->nid; $ret[$i]['titolo'] = $node->title; $ret[$i]['created'] = $node->created; $ret[$i]['link'] = url("node/".$node->nid); //$ret[$i]['link'] = l("nnn","node/".$node->nid); //this does not works, too $i++; } $this->resetWd(); return $ret; } The function works in right way but not for url() (or the link) function where before the right url is prepend "temp/" that is the directory where my script is running. Partially broken site after PHP upgrade

Hi Our hosting provider upgraded PHP4 to PHP5, and now some parts of our Drupal 5.x site have stopped working. This is what we are getting when trying to access many pages: Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/MYSITE/public_html/sites/all/themes/MYSITE/template.php on line 51 Any suggestions for fixing this? CCK Problem with Option Widget

Hi all, I have a problem with CCK (1.6-1) on my new Drupal installation (5.7). I can create a Text Single sign on/off field (checkbox or radio button), but with some errors: 1) The label is not associated to the field. See the two image attached. 2) When I check the field, my check is not stored in the DB so when I re-edit the node I see that the field is not checked. hi, when using views with "group multiple values", a thumbnail and arguments, is there any way to control which image is used for the main thumbnail? thanks sander

CCK Imagefield - default image

Hi, I am displaying nodes with CCK imagefields in a grid view. For the nodes that have no image submitted, I would like to show a default one. What would the best way to achieve this be (Drupal 5)? Thanks, Domas

Permitting access to node teasers but denying access to full nodes

Hi list, I want to be able to allow anonymous users to see node teasers but not full nodes. Logged-in users should have access to the full nodes. Is there currently a module for 5.x or 6.x that will let me do this? Thanks! -- Tim Vaughan 07725749263

A Problem with my Imported Users (automated password reset broken)

Hi Everyone, New to the list here, so, "Hello!" I'm glad to be a part and hope that sometime down the road I too can help out somebody. My little problem arose after I imported users from a Scoop database. Everything went fine and the users are usable, except there is one thing wrong. Under the login area on a Drupal page there is a link that says "Request new password." Normally, when working, the user simply enters their user name or email and the system sends instructions to the email on file. As you probably guess, this function doesn't work for my imported users. The whole process goes through OK, but the email is never received (and I'm guessing never sent either, though I'm not sure). For the sake of efficiency, let me tell you some things I have already done: -Checked the Drupal "users" table to make sure emails for users were set in 'mail' and 'init' fields -Checked all other "users" fields for irregularities -Changed password manually through cms, then reattempted password request Needless to say, this didn't result in any advancement against my problem. If anyone on this list might be able to shed a little light on this, please let me know. it would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to answer any other questions to the best of my ability if you have them Thanks! Dave B.

CCK and i18n - some fields should not be translateable

Hello all, I have node with decimal field price. This price should be equal for all translations of node, meaning if price is edited on one language it should be updated on all translations automatically as well. Is it possible to achive that out of a box in Drupal? Is there any module that deals with it? thanks, Bojan

Including images in stories

What's the best way to include an image in a story? What I've been doing so far is making the image an attachment to the story, disabling listing of the attachment, and referencing the image file directly with an HTML <img> tag in the body. Is that the right thing to be doing, or is there something more straight-forward? I'm thinking of our less technical contributors who don't want to be messing with HTML directly, but still want to include images in-line with stories.

show submenu in block when parentmenu is clicked

Hi, I'm trying to achieve something that seems simple, but is really killing me :( This is Drupal 6.1 I have some primary links. When I click one of these links I would like a submenu to appear in a block elsewhere on the page - that's really all (for now). I just can't get it working - I've looked through every module and a lot of functions in the d6 api, but no luck so far. and deadline is closing in - yikes! cheers Morten
