Creating Billing information and Payment Method tab in My Account Section

Hi All, My requirement is to save a user's billing information and Payment Method in the My Accounts section and use the information to collect money automatically from users credit card as soon as he user creates a node. I am trying to bring the Billing information and Payment methods on user/%/edit by implementing hook_user I created a new category payment and am trying to get the uc_cart_checkout_form on user/%/edit/payment section Following is the code that I have tried but did not work, can anyone please help me identify what and where am I going wrong? function custom_form_user($op, &$edit, &$account, $category = NULL) { switch ($op) { case 'form': if($category == 'payment') { $form_state = array(); $form = uc_cart_checkout_form(); return $form; } break; case 'categories': $output[] = array( 'name' => 'payment', 'title' => t('Payment Options'), 'weight' => 10, 'access callback' => 'user_access', 'access arguments' => array('access content'), ); return $output; break; } }

Problem creating lamp-vm.cfg

Hi: I'm a complete beginner and novice with Drupal. The system I will use is going to work on Ubuntu 9.04. I started by doing an apt-get install for the version Ubuntu has available. I then consulted the handbook on installation at drupal.com and began setting up a virtual machine. I've gotten stuck at the command: vmbuilder vmserver ubuntu -c lamp-vm.cfg The command gives an error: "the path to the configuration file is not valid: lamp-v.mcfg. I hunted around and found lots of lamp files but nothing that looks like this. I apologize if this is a common question but got a 404 not found message when attempting to view archives of this list. How to display blocks in frontpage/blog page

Hi, How do I display specific blocks in frontpage and blog page and to do it in reverse also. I tried putting these codes <code> To display in front page: <?php if (drupal_is_front_page()) : ?> </code> <code> To display in reverse: <?php if (!drupal_is_front_page()) : ?> </code> in the "Page specific visibility settings"--->" Show if the following PHP code returns TRUE (PHP-mode, experts only). Preprocessing CCK

Greetings, Theming video information (using embedded media & video fields) at the level of the Node template has been pretty reasonable, despite different video formats, because CCK puts handy #view variables in $node. However, I'm trying to use a Page preprocessor to pull some CCK video information at the page level using node_load, and it appears these #view variables have not been created at that point. This has lead me to start writing code to identify and interpret different video types, which (after just one video service type) has lead me to believe there must be a better way. Is there a good way to access or create the #view variables within Page preprocessing, or am I simply off-base in this approach? Thanks, Brian

Configuring fckeditor to strip off ms word tags and html tags

Hellos, I am using drupal 6 and fckeditor for textarea. When users submit applications, they paste directly from word. Facebook and OpenSocial

Hi drupalists, I have been trying to fetch profile information from other social sites like facebook, google, myspace etc into drupal accounts/profile and come across several modules as below. The main objective is to import profile information from Facebook, but if there're other alternatives that supports a bunch of social sites (including Facebook) like OpenSocial, I am open to it too. Drupal 6.16 not working

Note: 'update' rather than 'upgrade' > ----------=================-------- > Thanks Yup shoulda been update.php checked out http://drupal.org/node/732096 seems to refer to php 4 I am running latest updates on Fedora 11, php5.2 is installed and upgraded 2 weeks ago apache upgraded 3 weeks ago. Funny thing is I had 6.15 working for months but even after a fresh install of Drupal 6.16 it won't read Drupal in /var/www/html/mydir or in /var/www/html. If I change httpd.conf DocumentRoot to"/var/www/html/mydir when drupal is installed in "mydir" drupal starts. I've checked for overlaps or faults in/between httpd.conf and .htaccess, nothing apparent in either. If I set DocumentRoot back to /var/www/html then a separate drupal 6.15 installation for a trial web system starts in its own directory. Thanks Roger

multiple sites on one domain

I have a single user system and need to work on 2 quite different sites on my home pc before transferring them to the isp . Where can I find instructions on how to set up and work on 2 quite separate web pages. I guess they will use the same database so how would I separate each site so the components and database info can be transferred to a live ISP site. At present I have separate drupal installations. I believe there is a way to have one theme-set as the shop front - main page that everyone sees and another theme-set of pages for members. Where can I get instructions for beginners about this please. Off subject-- Is it worth going over to Drupal 7 now instead of having to upgrade down the track. TIA Roger

A standard technique for module confirmation dialogues?

I'm writing a Drupal6 module that does read/write/updates to my own tables in the database using the forms API. There are a few instances where I would like to present a confirmation dialogue before updating the database, but I'm not sure what is the standard way to implement that? For example if I have a menu item that calls a function mymodule_foo() like this: function mymodule_foo() { return drupal_get_form('mymodule_foo_form') ; } function mymodule_foo_form(&$context) { $form[] = array( '#type' => 'fieldset', '#title' => t('Review table Foo'), ); // .... whatever form data $form['#validate'][] = 'mymodule_validate_foo_form'; $form['#submit'][] = 'mymodule_submit_foo_form'; return $form; } function mymodule_validate_foo_form(&$form, &$form_state) { } function mymodule_submit_foo_form(&$form, &$form_state) { // update {mymodule_foo} table in database drupal_write_record('mymodule_foo',$record,$foo_id); } I guess I'm just wondering if there is some standard approach to generating an intermediate confirmation page before actually making the drupal_write_record() call(s)? thanks Doug
