suggestion on Vocabulary Index tree view

If you are running Drupal with Postgres as the database that you have access to less modules compared to running Drupal with MySQL as the database.

Merging view and edit tabs.

Hi, I was wondering if there was an easier way to get the view and edit details onto the one tab? I have a content type created with CCK and I'm using CCK content permissions to set field level permissions on the fields so that role_1 can enter data and role_2 can view the data and then approve/decline it using another CCK field that role_1 cannot see or edit. The problem I have is that when the user of role_2 looks at the node the view fields are on the view tab and the approve field is all on its own on the edit tab. I would like to have both on the same screen so that role_2 can see what they're approving without having to navigate between the two tabs. Any ideas on doing this in an elegant way? D6 site very slow

All requests on a D6 (latest) site, from simply viewing a page (cached), to performing an administrative action, to running a drush command, are painfully slow. It took about 12 seconds to load the homepage from a remote location today; 1-2 seconds is normal for static content, and 3-5 for java generated dynamic content, for non-drupal areas of this apache2 installation. I disabled the nodetype module via drush (took about 25 seconds to give me the confirmation prompt). It is now taking 5-8 seconds to load each administrative page. The slight speedup suggests that modules are potentially causing the issue here. I have attached a module list from drush, but is there anything else i should be looking at on the drupal side, to provide some kind of speedup? JS optimization is enabled; CSS optimization is not. Caching is standard (block caching enabled but may not be being used). I am currently trying page compression; it was previously disabled. Thanks for any ideas. Luke

Site performance (multiple views insert on node template)

Hello, I'm developing a site with ubercart and multiple views insert on a node template. As an example on http://www.janetjul.com/telas/blue-leaf <http://www.janetjul.com/telas/blue-leaf>the site has a slow load performance on the views inserted (3 jcarousel and 1 unfoirmatted view). Autocomplete Node Reference, not exists the element...

Printing "0" when a db query returns nothing

I am trying to print the number of downloads a user's attachments have produced and am 95% there. I just don't know how to print zero if the SUM returns nothing. here's what I have so far (with download count module installed which creates file_downloads table) <?php $query= "SELECT SUM(count) AS DownloadCount FROM upload JOIN files ON upload.fid = files.fid JOIN file_downloads ON files.filepath = CONCAT( 'sites/default/files/', file_downloads.filename ) WHERE (files.uid = $account->uid)"; $results = db_query($query); while($output = db_fetch_object($results)){ print $output->DownloadCount; } ?> works perfectly for those whose content have created downloads. For those who haven't, the result is a blank space. How can I print a nice fat "0"?? regards Neil

Does anyone know if creating a new layer (especially WMS type) or importing in a new layer works with the openlayers module 6.x.2.0-alpha4 revised 2010-Apr-08?

I am using the openlayers module and when adding a WMS (Web Map Service) with the add layer option it errors off saying that the projection does not exist so I export out the code and add the projection of 4326 and then try to import via the import layer option and it saves with no errors but it does not show up as one of the available layers. Does anyone know if creating a new layer (especially WMS type) or importing in a new layer works with the openlayers module 6.x.2.0-alpha4 revised 2010-Apr-08? Thanks, John -- John J. Mitchell
