Drupal 7 Multisites problem somewhere?

I have Fedora 14, fresh installation of Drupal 7beta3 in it's own mysql database I set up new mysql 'site' database. Firefox http://localhost/drupal7b3 dispalys but http://localhost/site_au shows "Not Found" the requested url was not found on this server. Seems that Drupal 7 is not seeing the new directory /etc/hosts has 127.0.0.1 site_au.org localhost /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf has: NameVirtualHost *:80 ###----------------------drupal au site-----# <VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "/var/www/html" ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost ServerName site_au.org:80 ErrorLog logs/site_au.org-error_log CustomLog logs/site_au.org-access_log common </VirtualHost> As per tutorial the new site is /drupal7/sites/site_au.org /drupal7/sites/sites.php has: $sites['localhost.site_au'] = 'site_au'; settings.php is a copy of /sites/default/settings.php and is in the folder drupal7/sites/site_au.org /var/log/httpd/site_au.org-error_log reports: [Sat Apr 09 15:27:38 2011] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /var/www/html/site_au [Sat Apr 09 15:30:15 2011] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /var/www/html/drupal7/site_au What have I overlooked or done incorrectly please Help much appreciated Roger

Doubts on VIEWS & DATA module - please help me

Hi All I have around 5 different tables containing employee records (Name, skill set , current company, years of experience etc). I am trying to show the employee records for different kind of search. One seacrh may be, show all the employees having knowledge on PHP and must have 5+ years of experience. I know, I need to a database query and show it in a view (either a page or block display). I know how to collect the records. The query will be something like this. SELECT res_table.name, res_table.yrsexp, res_table.emailid FROM res_table WHERE (res_table.yrsexp >= 5 AND skilltable.userid = $user->userid AND skilltable.skill = 'PHP') Or even in some cases I need to go for JOIN. Somebody suggested to use Data module for it. I gave a try, I am just seeing tables (in view creation), not sure how do I impose the custom SQL query. Is it really possible to impose above kind of sql query using Data module??? Or is it the best way to go for custom module and implement _alter_view or _pre_exute_view hooks. Regards Austin

Is their any way programatically to also send the user to the contents of the destination value even when they are already logged on like it does if they are not logon on?

I have a url: https://domainname/user?destination=michigan/genesee-countywhich if the user is not logged onto Drupal will send the user to the logon page and after a successful logon it will send them to the url of the destination in this case https://domainname/michigan/genesee-county. If the user is already logged on then it will send the user to the https://domainname/user page. Is their any way programatically to also send the user to the contents of the destination value even when they are already logged on like it does if they are not logon on? Thanks, John -- John J. Hi, I installed thesion for 7. I'm unable to translate my menu (the one that i created). Somebody knows how can I do that? Is there any tutorial for this module? disable access to tracker (recent posts)

Hi, On my Drupal 6 installation, I have Tracker disabled but I still see Recent Posts link available in the admin links and things are being tracked too!! I don't know how and why! What worries me more is that the link mydomain.com/tracker is accesible and viewable by anonymous users too. How do I disable this? Couldnt find anything in the permission list either. Regards - Ben

Salam, I'm new to Drupal and postgresql, in our company we have a need for a DMS, and i'm wondering if Drupal can do it with modules like maestro or filedepot. Our needs are : 1- One division can send a (document, content) to another division for approval (or comment the reason for reject) 2- One division can only see documents that were sent to it, and cannot view documents sent to another division My Questions are : 1- Can Drupal do that natively (without addins modules)...? 2- Is there any module outthere that can do the trick (i'm thiking about maestro and filedepot) 3- Or that is note possible with Drupal should i look for an ERP solution with workflow..? Calculations in a view

I need to provide tax calculations as part of a view output. Views-calc doesn't provide the capability it provides few invariable options and I can't seem to get Rewrite Output of a calculation field to do the calculation. egs., field_value / 1.1 Civicrm or ubercart seem overkill for our needs. I need to let applicants enter their donation (not prescribed payments) against each of 10 or so events, . We don't need the complexity of those applications, just to enter dollar value donations, sum the totals for each event type and sum the total of all incomes and apply tax to some events but not others, output the result in a view and as a csv file or spreadsheet. I have the data entry page working well and views that output results and views-calc providing sum and count results but no hope withtax calculations. Can someone point me to a tutorial or module please or show me how to code views calc.

How can I allow users to select published/not_published content?

Hi, my users want to have possibility to select when the content they create is published. Reason is, they have problem to create the whole article during one session, and if they do not publish it (even half-finished), the content gets lost. So they want to have the possibility to write just half of the article, not to publish it immediatelly, return to it later, finish it, and then publish. How can I allow it? There are default workflow options in content-type settings, with note "users with the administrator nodes permissions will be able to override these options". But quite naturally, I do not want to give to all my users administrator permissions! I’m trying to add a ‘Today’ link onto my Calendar view. I need to send ‘today’ to date_real_url. I couldn’t find anything in my first search through, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas (or a module or link to a fix that already does this). Thanks! Joel
