Five Rating Module

Hi Sir, i gave the rate permission to the anonymous, then used the anonymous role to test whether can rate the article or not. the annoying thing is although i have rated once,i still can rate the second time.third time.,fourth......again and again,there is no message to give me and saying, "you have rated." Could you please give me solution for this rating problem.I am using five star rating module Regards&Thanks Selvaraj.C

Hi All, I have a remote site set up on Bluehost. Now I have finally got around to setting up wamp, drush etc on the local machine. What is the best way to import/download/migrate the remote site to the local server? Thanks for any help. Tony

Add multi-line text to a textarea

Hey all, I'm trying to add a default value that has multiple lines to a text area and am unable to add line breaks. The default value is being built out of an array with the goal that each entry of the array is on it's own line. Adding \n, \r\n, or \r only adds the \n,\r\n, or \r as text and not as a new line. Is there some sort of preprocessing I need to do to the text in order to get the line breaks to show up in the textarea? Code: $codes = variable_get('somevariablename', array()); $display = ''; foreach ($codes AS $key => $value) { $display.= $value . "\n"; } $form['textareatitle'] = array( '#title' => 'Title', '#type' => 'textarea', '#default_value' => $display, ); Any help or pointing in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks! Ben

View of modules ?

Dear all, I'm wondering whether it's possible in drupal 6 to build a view of modules ? I know it's easy to see a list ofmodules but would still be interested in being able to build a view of installed ones so any pointer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ! Sherab.

Another interesting find with the troublesome calendar module after deleting everything in the css folder and flushing caches. Firebug in Firefox would not reveal the specific code, <Tools/DeveloperTools> in chromium does. I will investigate this further. I found the css in calendar_multiday.css and extended the width to 60em and height to 3.9em and find it contains all of the field data including all of the dates supplied by the repeating dates option. There seems to be no way to have just one or two fields in the display which displays everything in one long line. I have only the fields that the view needs. Very messy to say the least. So apparently there is no built in way to filter out just one date either in the date module or the calendar module and filter just what is needed for the display. If anyone can throw some light on how best to tackle this problem it's much appreciated Thanks Roger

Hi Roger, I'd take a look at the recent log entries to see if the save configuration isn't completing correctly. it's probably not so much that they're switching back on, but for some reason never getting switched off. -Don- Thanks Don Strangely there is no report of this.

Processing dates

I have a repeating dates field which shows 12 dates. Would like the view to display only the one date that occurs between current date and 1 week from current date. I've been trying variations with the filter: equal to greater than or equal to less than or equal to relative dates of now, today, yesterday +7 and +14 per the More examples of relative date formats in the PHP documentation <http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.formats.relative.php>. but this documentation has no examples for this type of requirement. Has anyone successfully done this in drupal 7 and if so may I ask how or where I can see some examples please. Thanks in advance Roger

<snip> And when you restart caching, I'd remove manually all files in the /sites/default/files/css/ directory. </snip> I deleted all those files, some 86 of them, then made a couple of changes in the /sites/all/modules/calendar/css/calendar.css and calendar_multiday.css then hit refresh in the browser and the /sites/default/files/css/ was rebuilt but with different names and no change to the calendar display and interestingly did not include my changes to the aforementioned files but defaults back to the original. /sites/all/modules/calendar/calendar.info shows files[] = calendar.install files[] = calendar.module files[] = includes/calendar.views.inc files[] = includes/calendar_plugin_style.inc files[] = includes/calendar_plugin_row_node.inc files[] = theme/theme.inc files[] = theme/calendar-style.tpl.php files[] = theme/calendar-row-node.tpl.php I checked out theme/calendar-row-node.tpl.php but to me it is no help. I'm thinking the calendar module seems not well considered in that it writes once to the css file and will not include manual changes - I have not a clue how to fix the issue. I did notice that if, in firebug, I make the display field very wide, 25em and about 5em high it contains all of the views fields and that changing any of those to the top of the views fields list, it sometimes displays those changes but there is no way to make the change permanent. Trouble is the little blue default display in calendar is far too small to contain useful information, font is bold and hard to read. Roger

<snip> So all your CSS tweaks should go into the very last CSS file that is called. Calendar css would be found in the calendar module. But all module CSS is called before your theme css, and you don't want to hack the calendar module. In your theme, go to its .info file and see the order of the css files called and find the last one (it's typically style.css or local.css). Put your changes in there. Clearing cache is always a good thing. </snip> I'll look in .info, had not thought of that, thanks. My observations/tests so far. --Clearing Cache does not clear the files in /default/files/css. --I do not know where to look for discussion on this /default/files/css and the erasing of files therein. Do they regenerate with modified css code if erased? --It seems that the css in /default/files/css is th last called, according to firebug. --css in this file overrides the css elsewhere in some but not in all cases. --Altering css code in these files has no effect on the display. --Altering css in the calendar module has no effect on the display while the /default/files/css is present. --Altering the css in /files/css with firebug changes the display but making the same alteration the file does not. --None of the above seems to apply with other modules and themes.
