Theming Search Results

Mark ... I was reading about the round robin host setup in the documentation, but our one Network/System admin doesn't know how to do it. Sad, right? You have an AD Team???? Good grief. It must be nice to work somewhere with decent support. question about making a front page

Hi, I am using views and I made a front page to displaylinks to a node and a link to the file attached to the node. I would like to change it to something like: Heading Recent articals Display recent articals Heading recent downloads List fo links to the downloads Can I do this with one view for my front page. I'm not quite sure how to make this happen. Do I make to pages in my view? For some reason I find views in drupal 7 a bit harder for me to grasp. At any rate a little guidance would be appreciated. Content access control

There are a million access control modules out there, but I can't seem to find one that fulfills my needs. Here are my requirements: Two roles, admin and client, a content type Client Files with CCK multi-field, File and User Reference, a single client. I need the admin role to have access to the content type entirely (easy) while only the REFERENCED Client user can access it. I also use TAClite on the site, but trying to auto assign taxonomy, etc. seems like it would be potentially buggy (user changes his user name), etc. Any suggestions? Joel Willers

Ubercart and order status

I have an installation of Drupal 6 + Ubercart and I have a need for the shipping costs are inserted by the administrator before payment. Basically I should put the order in a state of "suspension", wait for the administrator to add the shipping cost and re-put it in "affordable". How can I do it ? Tnx. Menus

I have mistakenly defined a new block called *main menu. *Now I get 2 main menus showing up on the site. One called *block-system-main-menu *and one called *main-menu. * When I assign the block to a region both menus appear (or disappear in the case of un-assigning). I would like to delete the block named *block-system-main-menu** *but find nowhere to do that. ? Drupal multi sites

We have 5 Drupal installations and are considering a Dev, Test and Prod multisite for each. The Dev and TEst would not be seen by the outside world. Do I have to register a domain name for each multi site. Cheers Roger

UX Randomizer Module

I was thinking about doing a UX experiment to log conversions based on changing minor elements like color of the link, etc. Anyone know of a module that will load randomly two different pages to viewers? For instance, I have Page1 and Page2, they are similar, but a link goes to different pages (where I have counters). One has a blue link, the other a red link. Any ideas? Joel Willers

2nd AD Server "rollover" not working with LDAP Integration Module

I have been using LDAP Authentication Module (Drupal 6.x) successfully with our network's AD server for a couple of years, no problem. (note: I use an LDAP account with stripped down permissions for non-anonymous search). So ... our sysadmin people just added a second AD server to our network for redundancy. They wanted me to test to see if Drupal's LDAP would work with both servers. I added the server in the LDAP Module configuration. It passed the authentication Test for non-anonymous search using my LDAP account mentioned above. I can disable either of the servers from the Module settings, and authentication still takes place. However, if either of the AD servers goes offline, Drupal's LDAP does not find the second server. The only way I can make it work is to go in to the LDAP settings and deactivate the server that went offline. According to documentation on http://drupal.org/node/118123, "the LDAP Servers will be consulted in the order they are listed. They are listed in the order they are created. Future releases will include an option to re-order them for authentication." This rollover doesn't seem to be happening, and I'm not sure where to go from here.
