please white-list my IP

hello, my IP has been grey listed by drupal.org and it won't let me access documents. I'm developing on the road and in thailand right now and I need access to the site. I've sent "please white list my IP": http://drupal.org/httpbl/whitelist Three times now over 14 days but I get no response or remedy from anyone… does anyone know how I can get access to drupal.org again? This is painful. my IP is: 58.10.65.169 If any of your can help it would be appreciated as I can't even access Drupal.org to contact anyone via the website either. If you cant help, maybe you know who I can write to. Thank you kindly, Sebastian.

I think the best way of not displaying Date and submitted By, is by configuring the content type not to display Author information 1. Go to structure 2. select content types 3. Select the content type of choice(in your case its the basic page) 4. select edit 5. Select display settings 6. uncheck Display author and date information. Viola!! you are done and you won the see that scribblings of Author information again on that content type. Removing subdirectory

My customer had his site built in a subdirectory so that everything is addressed as "www.example.com/c". I'd like to move it all up to the root directory, which is simple. But this is a long time B2B site, so I'm going to guess that there are a lot of bookmarks floating around for his customers. Can .htaccess be used to remove the "c" from the URL? If so, how? I'm already planning to use it to require the "www". Nancy

can this be done with views

I have a node type called announcements I have created a page that will display the title, full body and then a teaser at the bottom. I then have a block that will display title as a link to the view page and the block displays the title and just teaser. What I am doing is creating an announcement block and using the scheduler module. I can't figure out how to have the title as a link in the block bring up its own page in stead of all of the the announcements Is there a way to make this happen? I'm a bit confused with views. If anyone can offer help I'd appreciate it. Is it possible to have a drupal base install that is not used other than for multi sites. Help with SMTP Setup

Hi All, I have hMailServer just installed on my local windows 2003 and tried to use it for SMTP server in my Drupal 6.x installation on the same machine. I've configured hMailServer to use my ip address as domain (I don't have a domain name yet so I am not sure whether this will work or not.) and set up a webmaster account on hMailServer. I also changed mail function setting in php.ini file. But the SMTP in Drupal is still not working and I got the following error message: warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 530 SMTP authentication is required. in D:\wamp\www\includes\mail.inc on line 192. Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the site administrator if the problem persists. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks. Tom

Copying a site

Hi, I have done this before but I seem to be struggling to get this to work. My approach is - export DB - cp directory - search for old machine www.foo.com and replace with new site - tar directory up - copy both to new machine - untar directory on new machine - create DB on new machine - create user on new machine - import mysql -u root -p <DB> <dump.sql However have the error /Notice/: unserialize(): Error at offset 27410 of 57720 bytes in /DrupalDatabaseCache->prepareItem()/ (line /401/ of //home/user1/drupal-7.0/includes/cache.inc/). ///PDOException/: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY fit DESC LIMIT 0, 1' at line 1: SELECT * FROM {menu_router} WHERE path IN () ORDER BY fit DESC LIMIT 0, 1; Array ( ) in /menu_get_item()/ (line /443/ of //home/user1/pmi/drupal-7.0/includes/menu.inc/).
