content type notebook

hello guys, I am working on e-learning project which requires a scribbling pad like feature in which students can add/edit the content and save them. I have rough idea on how to make it. 1. To create a content type notebook 2. To define permission like students can edit/add content and save/retrieve them 3. The node must be displayed as block parallel video and it should be ready for use i.e content adding or editing like editor all time Now what i need is,a node must be created automatically as soon as a student registers and it should be displayed as blocks with edit option, scribbling pad of one user cant be accessible to other uses how can i make it possible ? I tried node as block drupal module it just displays teaser of a node as block. Feed Aggregator xml Errors!

Hello, I have been experiencing some problems with Feed aggregator in Drupal 6.8 When I run cron manually, it shows me the following errors: The feed from National Geographic seems to be broken, because of error "Invalid document end" on line 15.The feed from National Geographic seems to be broken, because of error "200 feed not parseable". I am using openSUSE 11.0 can anyone help?!?! Thanks, Radhika

Database problem

I am sorry to resubmit this but I have not head back and the problem is now getting worse. Hi all, The requirement is to display the popular content of this week and popular content of this month. This is done by fetching the content which has more number of hits or views. We have Drupal's node_counter table in which we have the totalcount and daycount fields which has views per day and total. Any one help me optimized MySQL query which can fetch this details in a quicker way. Currently the data is fetched from accesslog table which is not much optimized and very slow. Thanks in advance. GMAP Location doesn't save locations

I have the latest versions of GMAP, location and need to see a gmap view with a content type. When I edit a node I can assign the location with the map, I press Send but location isn't stored.(if I press edit again the location fields are empty) Any idea? thank's! Reducing Number of Queries

Greetings, I've been asked for help regarding a site on a shared hosting provider (MediaTemple). Recently the owner received an email indicating "..Today our automated systems checked your database activity again and determined your activity continues to exceed the MySQL SmartPool v.2 resources included with your Grid-Server..." Caching is on (normal) as is block caching and the other options available in the performance menu. I've turned up the minimum cache lifetime to an hour -- there is a fair amount of traffic but the content is relatively static. I've never had the "problem" of too much traffic before, and I am not sure what tools are available to attempt to minimize this, nor am I positive when how to evaluate when resources are at their limit and it's simply best to upgrade the server resources ... so I'm wondering if anyone would have any suggestions or tools or tips on this? Mailman problems?

I didn't see any List-Owner header so I'm posting here. I just received a warning from mailman: " Your mail to 'droppies' with the subject Re: [support] logging using lynx browser Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval. The reason it is being held: Message has implicit destination ".... The only message I sent with that subject did have the list in the To: header and I don't want to approve a message that may just pretend to come from me but that I can't see. Since recently there was some problem in the ml it could give some further clue to the maintainer about what happened or well it may be just a spam bot using my address or... well it could be both. -- Ivan Sergio Borgonovo http://www.webthatworks.it
