Question Regarding Wysiwyg Usage

I need to implement a significant set of custom functionality on top of a Wysiwyg editor. The basic concept is to allow the user to select text and then press a button to define that text as a "pull quote" which is then stored and can be used for special display purposes. I will maintain a list of icons on the side, one for each defined pull quote, and clicking on one will highlight that pull quote within the textarea. There are many other details, but I think that's the basic relevant idea and you can imagine what other details may be involved, such as making sure pull quotes don't overlap etc. :) I am trying now to determine which Wysiwyg editor to begin with, on top of which I will add the custom features. I was thinking of using Wysiwyg API ( http://drupal.org/project/wysiwyg ) with jWYSIWYG because I would ideally like to use jQuery, but the requirements for the Wysiwyg for this project are: * Bold * Italic * Underline * Bulleted List * Indent I haven't run a test yet, but it seems jWYSIWYG may not have indent. Can anyone who knows a bit more about Wysiyg editors than me provide any suggestions? Is Wysiwyg API the way to go or perhaps another Wysiyg tool like FCKeditor directly in Drupal without Wysiwyg API? Module to import RSS feeds from other website to Drupal Website automatically

Hi All, I am looking for a module in Drupal which ... Imports the blog content (and all other content) from other (Third party) website and add it as node to a drupal website with automatic updates of blog content. Problem with subdomain

Hello, My user name is danielc and I am in the server snake. Two of my sub-domains are not working. They give "page not found" errors: http://jose.daniel.carrera.bz http://elena.lifshits.carrera.bz The only pattern that I see is that both subdomains have a an extra dot. Sub-domains of the form A.carrera.bz work but A.B.carrera.bz are giving me trouble. Help. Daniel.

Installation Help

Hi, Please forgive the newbie question. I installed Drupal 5.something then tried removing it and installing 6.2 in its place. Now I have all the information that should be available on the Drupal pages (links and text) minus the background formatting (the blue background, the Drupal logo, the left column, etc). How do I get the background images and formatting back? Thanks for any help. Jen

Panels Template for all groups

I created a group home page that was made with a number of panels in a nice layout here http://civicplatform.exterbox.com/en/node/36/home I was wondering if it is possible for me to make this the default panel layout for all newly created groups. It will be the default template. That way, the new group admins will not need to figure out to configure the panels just to get their group page up and running and looking like the example above.

theming -> comments link under nodes not showing up right

hi everyone, i could use some help here. Drupal 6. On my audio nodes, i have links at the bottom for Download, Play Count, and Add Comments. There is nothing showing Number of Comments, or linking you to the comments themselves. There is an Add Comments link that takes you to the comments form, but, again, doesn't show the comments. So there is no way to know comments are there, unless you click on the node title and view it alone, not on the homepage with other nodes. With Theme Developer I have the following inspection data: Drupal Themer Information Parents: node.tpl.php < views-view-row-node.tpl.php < views-view-unformatted.tpl.php < views-view.tpl.php < page.tpl.php Function called: theme_links() Candidate function names: alagna_links < phptemplate_links < marinelli_links < theme_links Duration: 0.55 ms SO my question is: Are my settings off somewhere? Can I edit node.tpl.php in the theme to add the proper links to the node? Where is a guide to how to edit this? I've done a few things but am basically a noob. Thanks! Will

Site Icon

Hello, For some strange reason, my site icon is not displaying. This is the HTML code: <head> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/files/logo/logo-icon.png" type="image/x-icon" /> </head> And if you go to http://rosemarymusker.co.uk/ you'll see that the icon does not appear in the address bar. What could be the problem? The icon URL is correct - I tested it. Is it because it's a PNG file? I'm sure that I've used PNG files for site icons before. Any ideas? Daniel.
