404 blank page

When I visit a nonexistent page, I loose a good portion of my site template. Before I installed search404, I would get just the header, with nothing but a logo, and my footer. Nothing else of page.tpl.php displays. Since I added search404, I now get the 404 page surrounded by the same nothing. See http://dev.fertilityauthority.com to see the behavior. What's wrong?

voting more than once on polls

I need to allow users to vote more than once on the same poll. Sensibly, both the poll and advanced poll modules seem to assume that the user can vote only one time, and don't appear to offer an option to make it otherwise. As far as I can tell, these are the only two polling modules out there, amidst the slew of voting modules. 1. How easy would it be to hack one of the two extant poll modules to permit multiple votes per user? 2. Is there another option? Say, another module that could be adapted for poll-like behavior, that would allow multiple votes?

dear list, as there was no reply for my last issue i posted i hope i do not ask too-easy-to-solve-on-your-own-issues..because -at least to me- it seems i cannot find very much about this: after i put the project of the views-installation in a future-holding-queue, i thought, all other modules would install without any problems, but then i found the pathauto-module and tried to install, but it didn't work, too - it depends on the token-module, but if i copy the token-folder in sites/all/modules, there is no entry in /admin/build/modules, and when i set the status of all two token-entries in phpmyadmin to 1, there is no chance to get in /admin/build/modules again.. i must admit that i really deleted a lot of folders of modules (especially views and the image-modules) and copied them in again and again, did some update.phps with and without success, but that was because views wouldn't install and so i don't think views doesn't install because i deleted it often.. so, to put it in a few words: what could be the reason, my drupal-install doesn't like all modules (yes, they are the right ones for 6.6) and how can i change this? thank you for reading and regards :-jo --- jo <joinkemel(a)yahoo.de> schrieb am Sa, 6.12.2008: > Von: jo <joinkemel(a)yahoo.de> > Betreff: unable to install views properly > An: support(a)drupal.org > Datum: Samstag, 6. Ical feed from Google Calendar really wonky

[Resend since I didn't see the first in my inbox] Nothing fancy: One Google calendar. Copied feed URL from Google & entered the feed URL in appropriate field. Result: 1) Not all events appear; actually less than half. Some recurring, some not. Some in a recurring sequence appear while others don't. No rhyme or reason. 2) Most, but not all (?) events are 5 hours ahead. 3) most, but not all, events are displayed in 24 hour time. I prefer AM/PM. History: The original Google Calendar was populated with an ICS file created from Macintosh iCal. I guess my question is: Is there more to this than described above? Drupal is 5.12, PHP is 5.0.97 Community. SQL, I am not sure, but it is recent if not latest and greatest. Necessary modules were downloaded from the links above. Bob

Information about urls traslation

Hello, I'd like to ask you how can I set a clean traslation of the urls instead of using the names node/<number of the node>. I saw the option clean urls but it only change the form of the traslation, how can I gave a clean name to those addresses? thank you in advance for all the information regards, Sauro

Turning off automatic line breaking

Is there any way to turn off the line-breaking part of the "Lines and paragraphs break automatically" feature? I often copy-and-paste text from sources which into drupal edit boxes and having it turn all the returns into br tags is a pain. Most of the time, what I'd like to see is all single returns turned into a single space and all multiple returns (i.e. blank lines) turned into paragraph breaks. ---------------- Roy Smith roy(a)panix.com
