Domain Access uninstalling OG

I'm having some difficulty with Domain Access after removing OG. Before I installed OG, I had content displaying on only the selected subdomains. I applied the multiple node access patch, and then I enabled OG. As soon as og was enabled, content was getting displayed on -all- subdomains. Try as I might, I could not correct this. So, deciding that I did not need OG after all, I decided to uninstall it and put everything back. Problem is, I can't seem get it back the way it was. I tried: Clearing page cache Removing all OG tables Rebuilding node access permissions in post settings. I'm using D5. I'd appreciate some help troubleshooting this. Am I missing any steps?

can't reorder blocks after upgrade from 5 to 6

I recently upgraded from Drupal 5.12 to 6.6 and now I'm unable to rearrange block order. I click and drag blocks to where I want them, and as soon as I save it reverts back to the way it was. I tried a new site within drupal 6, and that works fine so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the upgrade. Any ideas what may be wrong? - jody

Is there a module that enables me to switch user and / or role without logging out and back in? The one aspect of D development that bugs me most is logging in and out to test permissions settings and whatnot. I looked on drupal.org and didn't see anything. Maybe I missed it.

Limit a sidebar menu to appearing on certain pages

I've created a custom content (business directory) that utilises the taxonomy menu and I've created a page called Business Directory which is in the primary menu. I'd like the business directory taxonomy menu only to appear on the new business directory page and of course the pages that display the business directory entries. http://lechladeonline.co.uk/ Can someone point me in the right direction please? Drupal 6 admin menus not saving

I have a copy of Drupal on the web and a local copy which is a copy of the code and the database. The local copy seems ok, but the web copy won't save changes to menus. There are no error messages, nothing in the log, the menu just reloads as it was, without the changes. This is the first time I've made changes to the menu, so I don't know if it every worked. I'm new to Drupal so I don't even know where to start looking. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

unable to install views properly

hello again, next problem, next chance :-) i had now a dozen tries to install and deinstall the views-module in drupal 6.6 with many different ways - just deleting the folder (maybe not that good..), deactivating it and deleting the folder, removing it in the databse, installing it again and deinstall it with the deinstalltion-routine in the modules-area - but everytime i end up with these problems: - activating the views-module hangs indefinitly at "import of the surface-translation" <--(which is a direct translation from german to english, i don't know how this is called in the original english-surface) refreshing the site brings me back to the homepage and i have to log-in again. the views-module is now activated, but it is impossible to activate views_UI: trying it with /admin/build/modules says "site not reachable" and doesn't activate it, and when i activate it with phpmyadmin, i am no longer possible to reach /admin/build/modules.. any ideas? :-jo

Hi Derek, I posted the code block in. Upon restart of httpd, it returns: Warning: DocumentRoot [/var/www/html/drupal] does not exist Once I have done this, I can no longer see test.html, test.php. It returns a 403/forbidden. Also, /drupal/index.php gives a 403/Forbidden as well. I know that /var/www/html/drupal does exist because I can go there in the terminal window. D6: Anonimous comment are not displaied

Hi all. I have this strange problem with my drupal 6 installation (www.ziodrupal.net): anonymous comment are not displayed. Anonymous can send comment and comment are writer to DB (I can see it in the comments and node_comment_statistics tables), but not displayed in the node's page. I have checked the permission and seems correct to me. If you see this page: http://www.ziodrupal.net/links/prova-di-inserimento.html You can see "2 comments in reply to prova di inserimento" and infact in the db there are 2 comments, but only the one of "admin" user is displayed. I have tried with my theme and with "garland" theme, but the results is the same. Any help is welcome. Unable to login to site or add products to cart in IE6

As do most of you, I have a deep and abiding love for IE6, and this issue just deepens that love. For some reason, I am unable to add products to my cart (using Ubercart) or even sign in to my account in IE6 (all things I can do just fine in IE7, FF, Safari, Opera, and any other browser known to man). When I try to log in, I just get the "Access denied - You are not authorized to access this page" message. When I try to add a product to my cart, it just displays the "There are no products in your shopping cart" message. I've looked at settings in IE6 and can't see anything that would prohibit this, such as cookies being blocked. Based on some suggestions from IRC last night, I tried using a different theme and enabling CSS aggregation, but that didn't make a difference. Does anybody have any idea as to what would cause this? Thanks.
