Mass Mailer Module

Is there a tool people use to handle mailing lists, including tracking etc? I see there is a massmailer module to integrate with PHPList, but it has no releases. :( The site in question is Drupal 5. Thanks.

Kickapps integration problem

I'm almost there. I installed the Kickapps drupal integration module, and all seems well. When users register on my site, they are registered at kickapps. Kickapps sign-on, etc. links back to my site, as promissed. However: I don't understand how to set up my drupal menus to append the proper session data. What I tried at first was just to pull the urls from my kickapps pages, for, e.g., discussion boards. Then I dumped that url into my menu item path. Obviously, that didn't work. So... what's the right way?

Error 500 after update.php

v5.10, I am getting weird Error 500. Regardless of which module I update, after I ran update.php with no error message, I am no longer able to access <mysite>/admin without Server Error 500. I have restored from backup and tried updating different modules with same results 3 times so far. When update.php finishes, the admin link is /?q=admin instead of / admin, and this ends with Error 500, so I go to Main first then click on admin from the Nav. Still Error 500. Now if I type /admin/ <subdir>, it just works, i.e., /admin/settings. This is just so weird. Hello All, I'm developing a site. I want a communication like any job site. e.g. In any job site, when users register there then each user goes an email from site owner. So how can i achieved that using drupal? Is there any module? I've used comment_og but this not what i want. Regards, Vishakha.

how to embed a node inside another node

What is the php code for embedding (the contents) of a node inside another node? i guess this must one of the most basic phop code - but them i am zero in php - so need help. what i want is to create a page then then embed that in many other pages (child pages of many books) so that when i update this page - it automatically get updated in all the places where it is embedded. You could have a look at the InsertNode (http://drupal.org/project/InsertNode) Module -- I have not used it myself but it may do what you want. I have used the Views and InsertView modules to achieve something similar. -Craig

Access denied in webforms

Suddenly roes that don't have "edit node" permission cannot accesss my webform module forms. I've read about this issue, seeing suggestions from revising the permissions, redoing permissions at "post settings", but none of the suggestions has worked for me. I've tried also updating the webform module from 1.7 to 2.1 after cloning my site at a test site but I still get the "acces denied" message when any role without "edit node" permission tries to access the webform node. I tried also creating a new webform, to see if it is an issue with the old ones, but the new ones show exactly the same behavior. No problem with any other node type. I suspect that something has changed in the access tables for node types after a drupal upgrade, but I can't identify when this started to happen and I haven't updated anything since mid July (but maybe webforms are not working since then and I hadn't noticed).
