WikiMedia Formatting

Does anyone know about the Wikitools module, but if I cut and paste a wikipedia page into a large text box and publish it in drupal, most of the formatting is lost. I understand the module is still in development, but is there a workaround to get full support for MediaWiki formatting? Thanks! --ian--

Author URL and feed, moving stories to blog posts

Hi I wonder if there's a better way to list all stories by an author than using the 'tracking' URL in his/her profile. Also, is it possible to build a feed URL that fetches all stories by an author? Please note that I'm not referring to blog posts, but actual stories. Maybe the solution is having a blog for each author, because that not only provides complete, chronological lists complete with teasers, but also a feed. However, how would I move all existing content by an author to a specific blog? Any suggestions will be much welcome. THANK YOU, this fixed it. My site email address was blank. Im in favor of making that a required field with a default (e.g. noreply(a)drupal.site), but maybe because that is because I just got burned! :) Thanks again, Chris What happens if you change the Drupal site email address to the same >From address that one the successful test emails you sent used? Or change your previously successful test emails to come from your Drupal site address? Nope, they are not in my spam filter, and none of the other users get any emails either, so I think its something else... Ideas? I made a php (below) and it worked fine, sent email. Also, I can send mail from the command line with the "mail" command fine. I netstat 25, and it is listening on all ipaddresses. This means SMTP is fine, right? Drupal still wont send emails though... what is the next thing to check? Thanks! Hey, We had a dropal site on a linux host, and exported the mysql to another DB, and copied all the php's to another host. Drupal turned on ok, but no emails get sent. Ive read google and other posts, and I made a simple php which sends an email find. /usr/sbin/sendmail exists. Can someone walk me through the troubleshooting steps? Charge fees on store

Hi, I need a module for an e-shop solution for Drupal 5.2. I guess the ecommerce module fits my needs. The requirement is this: I want users to be able to exchange/buy/sell goods through the store. The buyer will pay the seller through PayPal and I want to keep a small percentage (or maybe a standard amount) of the payment as fee for this transaction. When two users exchange goods (no payment involved), I also want a small fee from either the byer or seller, or both. What else do I need besides the e-commerce module to implement this requirement? Of course, users should be able to post their goods at this store for selling. There are a few modules for e-commerce stuff in d.o., however I'm a bit confused how to use those and if they fit my needs, so I would appreciate a response from experienced users. Hide hit counter from teaser?

I'd like to hide the hit counter from teaser because it is taking space up. I thought there was a config place to control this but I can't find it. Is this something I need to override? hello my first question is about removing a modules : I have to desactivate it in the list's modules, and delete the folder in the modules's archive ? the second : I create 2 views, wonderful in firefox, adding content, refresh, new content, list of content. In Internet Explorer, nothing of nothing, just the title of the view. I try to refresh the cache of IE, nada.
