I had the same problems in an attempt to modify (I think it was) the pushbutton theme. In the end I completely junked it and started afresh (not least because whichever one it was used tables for layout: when is this, 2001?) IE could be getting confused by some sort of float-clearing element in the main column, or by an anomalous width. I see that the #squeeze element is wider than the #main element in the CSS (640px vs 634px, line 30/49 in layout.css). This could be pushing the #main element out to 640px and causing it to drop below the sidebar. Try making sure no elements in #main are wider than #main itself. In general, I think the most robust way to do this sort of thing is to float *all* elements in #container either to the left or right, and set a width and overflow on #container so that it surrounds the height of the floating elements properly, something like: #container { width: 760px; overflow: hidden; } #main, #left-sidebar { float: left; } #main { width: 600px; } #left-sidebar { width: 140px; padding-left: something-less-than-20px; } You do then have to be aware of IE's double-margin-on-floats bug, and only ever use padding instead. hi, i have a strange rendering problem excusive to IE6/7 with the zen theme in 5.2 the content always sinks down below the navigation: http://www.htmlles.net/2007/fr/benevoles i have to look here http://meineipadresse.de/netrenderer/index.php to see what IE does with it, because i have no MS windows available. anyone has got an idea what it could be? yes, i applied already the fixes as suggested in: http://drupal.org/node/101305 #14 and #59 but the bug is still there. thanks, mx

how to modify css for a default/core module for 1 site on a multi-site setup

I need to modify some styles in book.css to fix a view for just one site. The book.css file is in the core part of the drupal files, not in the individual theme. The views theme wizard doesn't do the code for this type of view yet. Simple form-based node flagging

I would like to make a simple "node flagging" tool on my site. I have a flag icon on every node which has the URL of the node (or the nid) inserted into it using php. What I would like is for a user who clicks that to be sent to the contact form and for the page URL to appear in the "Message" text box already. I've had a lot of problems with the Abuse module (especially the admin side of things...constant sql errors), so have decided to try to create something simpler. If the contact form can't be used like that, is there a way I can set up a simple form on a page (mysite.com/report) which is pre-filled with a flagged node's URL/nid as described above? Thanks Neil

Node reference options guidance

Hello all, I'm sure someone has already figured this out, but I feel I've done the due dilligence on my own and am now reaching out for help. I have created 3 content types with all the relevant fields.... Band Show Venue For my show content type I want to give the ability for the user to enter names of bands and the names of venue the show is at. The node reference field type works great when the venue or band already exists , but when it doesn't that field isn't even saved. So we get a show with no venue and no bands if they do not exist in their respective content types. Ideally I would like to have the reference potentially resolved to a node at view time rather than save time, but I haven't managed to find any CCK documentation that would give me any direction on how to do this without completely overriding the template for that node type. Does anyone have any experience in doing something similar? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. -- Thomas G. Willis

Anyone know what I need to do to get individual pages to redirect to https? These 2 lines work: RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} !^443$ RewriteRule ^(contact/requestBook)$ https://s24863.gridserver.com/$1 [R=301,L] These lines, which should be the exact opposite, redirect all pages to http: # Redirect non-secure pages to HTTP if requested by HTTPS RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^443$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^contact/requestBook$ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://s24863.gridserver.com/$1 [R=301,L] I've tried all options here including node/387, index.php?q=node/387, including/excluding parens etc - none have worked. Obviously as is the contact/requestBook page ends in an endless loop. I tried the securepages module but it's broken. .sander

Image Gallery

I see here http://drupal.org/node/144725 a method of making an image gallery using CCK and Views. What I want is an image gallery which: 1. Is easy to use for the layman staff members to add folders/images 2. Automatically creates thumbnails 3. Uses thickbox or lightbox to show full size images I have never used the Image module so I am open to trying either that or the CCK/Views method. I have used CCK and Views. :) Any suggestions? Increase News Items to 10 in Panels

Hello List, Two of my previous questions about Panels and Aggregator went unanswered. I don't know if I provided all the necessary information. Let me try once again. I am using Panels module. In one of the blocks in a Panel, I have added "News Category Latest Items". This displays only 5 items. How can I increase it to 10? Open Text for Purchasers Only

I have a CCK node type which is purchaseable. What I would like to add is the ability for users who are actually purchasing the object to be able to attach a note in a textarea. I want to allow them to add one note per item. I suppose this would be best as part of the checkout process. Any ideas on how I could go about this? I already asked the ecommerce list but no one responded. :( Thanks!
