switching away from image module

Hello helpful people! I have been using the image and image assist modules for images on my sites. I've had some problems with them, and when I looked at the issues list for image I was not thrilled, there are a lot of them. It seems like everyone in the local user group (NYC) uses CCK imagefield with imagecache instead for their sites. I'm thinking I should just go ahead and switch. What's the best way to go about it? Will uninstalling the modules cause further problems? Will I have to recreate all the image content? I have simply images in posts, and some image galleries. Shibboleth module for drupal

Dear Drupal.org support, Is there any shibboleth module for drupal? http://shibboleth.internet2.edu/ I cannot found any information about this. I will study the LDAP and the MyOpenID (https://www.myopenid.com/) drupal modules for Know-how. I would like to create a Shibboleth module. Best regards, Gabor Roczei

getting mail sent from Drupal on a Fedora 7 machine

Hello there, Is there anything special I need to do to get mail to be sent by Drupal? I tried yesterday to have a user account sent with no luck. Scott

Richard, you wrote to the wrong list. I am replying in the appropriate list, assuming (correctly?) that you are subscribed here as you are asking a support question.... The jstools package will do this for you. Collapsiblock is the module in that package to do this for your blocks. OT - Anyone using ScribeFire to post to drupal?

Hello, I'm using ScribeFire to post to my Drupal site. It works great, but has one major flaw that I'm trying to find a solution to. When I post using it, it completely ignores carriage returns. Has anyone else seen this problem? I've tried finding help at the ScribeFire site, and have had no luck, so I was hoping someone on this list would have some idea what may be wrong. - jody

What module is this? - A dumb Inquiry

This is a pretty dumb inquiry. A module I installed long time ago is doing something undesirable, and I have been unable to identify what module is doing this. Please go to this page: <http://www.anonemusic.com/video> If you click on icons of the video clips, it does quite cools thing, but I rather want to have it run on image albums instead of these icons. Besides "play movie" text magically appears but has no action attached to. I remember I got this module outside of drupal.org. It must be image module add-on, but I just can't identify it. If anyone knows what this is, appreciate any help. P.S. LibGD and mbstring/Unicode

Hello all, I just recompiled and reinstalled php with a ./configure -with-gd -enable-mbstring, and Drupal's status report still shows them as not being installed. Does anyone know what is going on with that? Are others having this issue? Is this a bug? Thanks, Mike

content change notification mails ?

Hello, (I'm still trying to figure out what features drupal has, please forgive me for asking dumb questions.) I'm trying to set up sandbox drupal site to experiment with various features. I have managed to add a user, and let this user receive a welcome mail. Now I'd like to experiment with mail interfaces (both, in, and out). While I'm able to submit new content using the mailhandler module, I can't seem to make drupal send out new content via mail. What do I need to enable this ? Ideally, I'd like to configure users to receive new / updated content notification mails, based on roles / taxonomy. Does this require extra modules ? Is this possible at all ? Calendar module - ical.module error

Hello, I recently upgraded to the latest version of the calendar module, and I'm noticing an error on the top of the front page of my site, and I'm lost as to what the problem is. Here is the error: warning: Missing argument 4 for calendar_ical_views_feed_argument() in /var/www/html/drupal/sites/all/modules/calendar/calendar_ical.module on line 323. Line 323 says this: Function calendar_ical_views_feed_argument($op, &$view, $arg, $argtype) { if ($op == 'argument' && $arg == 'ical') Any ideas on what I can do to fix that? - jody
