has anyone got the search function working on an internationalized site? i get the following errors. When trying to upload files through the upload module, I am getting an error (500 Internal Server Error) after about 3 minutes: 500 Internal Server Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, <webadmin at civicactions.net> and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. I've increased the PHP timeout to 1 hour and disabled the suEXEC timeout completely. Also increased Apache connection timeout as well to 1 hour. Still having the problem. I've managed to reproduce a problem: - 195.42.161.6:38460 -> 64.71.151.174:80: ESTABLISHED - 195.42.161.6:38460 -- 64.71.151.174:80: RESET (425.31 seconds) - 195.42.161.6:38461 -> 64.71.151.174:80: ESTABLISHED The connection got reset after 425 seconds (not sure why that number), then re-established (with no messages from the browser - it is only seen with a sniffer), but the data transfer was restarted from the beginning (not continued from the point where it was interrupted). error_log has only the most generic error message, unfortunately: [Sat Jun 25 12:41:56 2005] [error] [client 64.165.210.102] Premature end of script headers: /home/clients/websites/w_ions/public_html/dev/index.php I've tried replaying the sniffer dump into Apache and got this: HTTP/1.1 200 OK [...] ... grey_a__art_as_a_spiritual_practice__02.mp3</a></td><td>2.46 MB ... [...] So if my web browser would have simply closed the connection, there would be a partial upload, -- not the error message I'ver received. This confirms that the problem is timing-related. But we've already bumped up all the timeout values on the server that I knew of and 10+ minutes uploads have worked for others for testing. Any ideas? Aaron - - - - - - - - - - - Aaron S. [drupal-support] Too many status messages in Drupal 4.6.1

I'm just setting up a new Drupal 4.6.1 page and having an interesting problem. I'm getting a long list of status messages coming out on each page. All the status messages from the last several pages in fact. It's becoming anoying. I tried searching the support forums, but didn't find much in all the noise. Guess I wasn't quite sure what to call the things. [drupal-support] Possible bug: wrong datatype triggered by content type configuration

Hello list, nobody replied to my last post: forum: "warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument..." :-) I have made a fresh install and started from scratch, verifying that every single step would not cause any errors. Finally, I discovered and isolated the issue. When you configure a content type, for example: /admin/node/configure/types/forum you *must* al least select one checkbox among the default options: Published In moderation queue Promoted to front page Sticky at top of lists Create new revision If you leave them all unchecked (that was my case), you get the following errors when you try to add content of that type: warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in [path-to-site]/modules/node.module on line 1296. warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in [path-to-site]/modules/node.module on line 1297. warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in [path-to-site]/modules/node.module on line 1298. warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in [path-to-site]/modules/node.module on line 1299. warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in [path-to-site]/modules/node.module on line 1300. [drupal-support] deep integration with an existing site...

I am wondering about how to wrap Drupal into an existing site. I run a site which is like a big database, with lots of URLs that are basically queries; like a dictionary... site.com?tag=lookupWord how could I get Drupal to respond to these requests? I'd like Drupal "pages" to be wrapped around these URL, with all the commenting features etc. I can insert my own "page" to pull out data/DB queries using a template. But I need unique Drupal nodes for each of these pages, so the comments stick to each page. Any thoughts/pointers on how to achieve this? Is this a flexinode project? tx, /dc

hiya - are there any docs on end-user using the internationalization module? I have it installed + seems to be working, but not sure how to remap node URLs etc. There seems to be some behind-the-scenes creation of new nodes, but i want to be able to explicity reference what is created. eg en/top jp/top -- flag icon also, how to control the visibility of the little "flag" icon - can this be added to the main navigation template of the site? -- language setting it doesnt seem to "stick". eg if you are looking at a page in one language, then click a link to go to another page, it goes to the en version of that page... is there a way of referencing the translation? eg node/32/en -- template parts can $site_name $site_slogan etc be translated? -- language switcher? is there a way to trigger the language setting that is buried in the users configuration? eg with a GET url so i could create a link something like: <A href=setLang.php?lang=jp>JP</a> and then write a script to dig into this? -- anonymous user lang settings? thanks for any info! /dc
