In some ways I almost feel like I'm learning Drupal all over again...
I created a content type that includes a Viewfield. I hijacked the Body field to be a "text before" field and then added a "text after" field as well. When I produce a a taxonomy/term/% page, the node with the Viewfield is empty (as is the "text before"). How can I get the View to display in this teaser form?

I think you have to go into the Display Fields and control it there. (Edit/Manage Fields/Display Fields). Hope that helps!

Hi, On Drupal 6.x, I'm trying to set up WYSIWY and CKEditor for users. My problem is that admin can see all the buttons I've enabled in wysiwyg for editing fields, but other roles cannot for body. The editor buttons are available for comments however. I've removed html filtering, created a new filter, enabled that filter for the roles, but nothing every changes on the list of editor buttons for body.
Any ideas what I might be missing? Could it just be a bad install, and it's reverting to CKEditor?
Thanks. -Don-
CKEditor is best used for Full HTML type, instead of BBCode(in my opinion), but if you have restricted everyone but admin from entering Full HTML, that might explain why they can't see the editor.

Hi, Thanks for the response. That's the problem, I haven't restricted everyone from Full HTML. Only anonymous isn't allowed to use it. I'm just not getting Full HTML for any role but user 1.

Have you verified that the permissions are set in both places. The WYSIWYG profiles and the Input formats?

I've added the roles to the filter at admin/settings/filters/x
I've added the buttons on the WYSIWYG configuration page at admin/settings/wysiwyg/profile/4/edit for the input filter. I don't see another permission to set, but that certainly seems to be the way it's acting.

And finally, you mentioned maybe creating a new filter. You understand that changing the default filter doesn't change any of the content's filter? You may need to change the input format associated with each piece of content. Make sure to check an verify that the piece of content you're trying to edit has the new input filter you created associated with it.
