Making menu peek-a-boo

I have a feeling the answer is somewhere easy to be found but I can't find it. How do you make menu item specific to user group? I used Content Access module for a section to share with my band members privately. I want its menu to appear at Primary Menu only when they are logged in. How can I make this happen? migrate one category to another drupal install?

hi folks, i podcast from freedom-center.org and want to migrate all the audio posts to madnessradio.net. is there some way to do this? the posts are all tagged "radio," and they are two different drupal installs, but i don't know how to get them from one to the other... thanks for helping a newbie. --- will

OG publishing permissions.

Hi, I'm having some trouble setting up the publishing permissions with an OG site. The idea is that each group owner is the only one who can publish in his group, if other group owners subscribe to his group they can only read it, not post, yet each group owner should also have the possibility of posting to the main frontpage (or a specific group setup as 'general' and displayed on the frontpage) Basically I'd like to hard-code which group each group-owner can edit (ie, their own and the 'general' group), but let them view all groups. Currently when they subscribe to one of the other groups, it automatically appears in the 'Audience' field when they publish a new page. Thanks for any ideas, Richard (BTW I read the sample-chapter of 'Pro Drupal development' which was great, the book is now on its way across the ocean)

Help changing file locations

I was wondering if there is a way to change my urls to be more descriptive... for instance. I would like to create a page about sports and my favorite teams. Instead of having the url to that page be /node/1 I want it to be /sports/ how do i go about doing this?

Including pictures in drupal contents

Hello everyone, I'd like to know how can I include a picture in a drupal content. should I use the normal tag of html <img>, or is there another simplier way? How can I establish the position of a picture? How can I specify other parameters? Thanks in advance, Best regards, Sauro

select options in FORM API from database table

What is the best or preferred method for building the array for options in a select form item? The data would be coming from a database table that just holds the items for the dropdown. I know how to hard code the options, but would prefer to keep these in a db table for easy updating. Thanks, Mark

Local Staging Env: OSX

I have been trying to setup local staging env last 3 days, and I think I exhausted all the options. OSX 10.4.9 MySQL4.1.22 Now I finally found MySQL4.1.22, at least it is in sync with my ISP, and it's supposed to be no more UTF-8 corruption in transferring. The problem is that all the images on my local site are getting wrong path. It was working before I made the remote site to public so this has got to do with the setting, but being noob I can't figure it out, editing around .htacess and setting.php but to no avail. Live: /public_html/music/ => http://music.anonemusic.com => http://anonemusic.com Not only I can't find the way that works to make Clear-URLs on my local env (the directory that the article at the Drupal site mentions for OSX doesn't exist on my machine), I can't fined the way to make localhost redirecting to the subfolder like my live site is setup. I believe not having my local with Clear-URLs and/or redirecting to the subdirectory is causing path incompatibility when I import DB from the live site.
