Only show teasers when not logged in.

Hi, I am trying to find a good way to have the option of only showing the teaser, with a 'Subscribe to read article' link instead of the default 'read more'. This gives an idea how to do it per role: http://drupal.org/node/126075 But the user would have to be logged-in for that to work. Any tips on showing teasers-only for not logged-in users, and full teaser+page when they are logged in? Thanks, Richard

CSS Question

Hello, I would like to hack Views produced CSS but I am not sure what I am dealing with, especially with my limited CSS skills. For example, I created a Recent Hit block. The label "Hit" and the actual count are in two lines, where I want them to be one line with float-left. Firebug tells me: class="view-label view-label-node-counter-totalcount" I can't find anything like this in any css file. A few problems: Node Reg and Cat

I didn't plan to have any user when I designed my new site. At this late, I changed my mind, and facing a few problems. Instead of me creating my musicians profile, I now want each musicians can login and create/edit their own profile to be listed under band member. Problem 1 The taxonomy list is shown on their Content Type but I need to have it selected Band Member by default and I don't want them to have any access to this. How can I control access per field? Problem 2 One of the member made a bad profile. I unpublished it, and created a temporary profile to be posted until she comes back in country to fix it. The problem is that Node Ref from our show schedule and discography lists both, my temporary one and her original. It's just inconvenient, and hoping to make her original not to show up in Node Ref list. Possible? P.S. How to theme front page teasers

Hi My site has two main content types, each with their own taxonomy tree. I would like to display teasers from both types in the main content area of the front page, interspersed according to the posting date. However, I would like to give readers a clear indication of which type each teaser comes from. I was thinking of adding a coloured bar running down the left side of each teaser for all its height, with the colour depending on the type and maybe the type name appearing vertically inside the colored bar. As an alternative, I could use different background colours for teasers of each type. Can somebody help me in doing any of the above? I'm not a CSS type and I don't know how teaser theming works. webforms question

Using hte webforms module, is there a way to put formatted text into the form between the form fields? It's hard to guess at why it might not be working. If you have a link so we can see it, that would help. Replace the word "click" with "hover" and that's the default behaviour. If your subitems are showing all the time with nice menus then something isn't working right. Possibly you have javascript disabled? Hi to the list, Ok, now i've tried a couple modules to see if i can get my menus colapsable like i wanted to. It looks like Nice Menus can do almost what i want, it displays menus in a list below a link, so for example "administer" shows its menu items directly under that link in a nice little frame, but i wonder if it's possible to colapse those menus so that only the top link is visible and when i click it, the list pops out. If this works, is there much hacking involved? /Krister

is it possible to have validation using CCK fields?

hey there - I'm looking to use CCK fields for defining if an article is exclusive to a role of users along with a specified timeframe. Is it possible to utilize some sort of validation whereby if a role is specified then a startdate and enddate must be specified? The trick is that if they specify a role, I need them to also specify a startdate and enddate. Does the CCK module allow for hooks to alter the form and/or specify more advanced validation rules? i've read about node_alter_form and hook_alter_form, but how does one use them with CCK fields? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. regards, brian
