Hi there! I've installed google reader blogroll module on my site, but it shows me the following error *Notice*: Undefined variable: block en *gr_blogroll_block_view()* (línea *61 * de*/var/www/gpperez/sites/all/modules/gr_blogroll/gr_blogroll.module*). anybody understand it? thanks in advance. I want to create a generic ubercart product so that an administrator can assign a price while within the add to cart page.

I want to create a generic ubercart product that has a price of 0.00, but when an administrator brings up this product they enter a decimal price of their choosing within a textual attribute and when they click the add to cart button this product is added to the shopping cart with the price that was entered within the textual attribute field. How would I implement this? Thanks, John

Lost admin menu

Links to Youtoube and others.

Hello all. What do you consider based on experiece the best option of module for having a link to youtube videos with a small explanation. A friend of mine, a reporter is uplaoding investigations to Youtube and we want to have links from my site to those. I am running Drupal 7.2. I have found several modules that seems to help me but I am not sure what's the best option. Thanks in advance Jorge Biquez

Child menu items not expanding on new menus (Drupal 7)

I posted a breadcrumb problem a couple days ago that it turns out is just a subset of this problem. I just tested this on a clean install of Drupal 7.2 with the same results. I apologize for the lack of brevity. The problem is when creating a new menu, the menu items do not respect the child/parent relationship like they do with the default Navigation menu. I created a new menu called Client menu. I then created a Client content-type assigned to this menu in menu settings. Then I created a new Client page, Documentation, with a parent item of Client menu. Then I created another Client page, A Product, with a parent of Documentation. I assigned Client menu to a block and it displays below Navigation. When I click Documentation, the A Product child does not display. Also, if I go to the A Product page directly, the breadcrumb shows Home > A Product, instead of Home > Documentation > A Product. If I set Client menu to expanded, then A Product DOES display as a child. However, the breadcrumb still shows Home > A Product. When I click list links in admin, the nesting displays properly. If I change the Client content type to use the default Navigation Menu instead of my Client Menu, everything works properly (proper breadcrumb trail, and clicking Documentation expands the sub-item). What do I have to do to a new menu to make the menu items function like the Navigation Menu? Thanks, Adam

Set per user/per role edit permission based on workflow state?

Hello All, I am using the *Workflow* module to handle state flow of a certain content type i'm using: *projects*. Depending on the particular workflow state and the role of the user, the user should be granted (or revoked) *edit access*to the node. I passed on the option to use Rules as this is more for reactions on events, whereas i would need a general check on node workflow state to decide on user edit access. I found out about the *Permissions API* module which gives me the ability to *grant or revoke permissions programmatically* based on role of the user and workflow state of the node. I call the permissions grant/revoke functions in *mymodule_preprocess_node_project *in *template.php*. This seems to work. The only issue i am having is the "edit"* local tasks menu item*. This only seems to be set on the second page load. In other words, the local tasks menu seems to be built before my permissions API functions have taken effect on first page load. Any idea how i can solve this in a clean way? Best, Toon

If someone can just point me to a docs page that explains this clearly I'd appreciate it. This is for a volunteer project and i'm not posing as a drupal dev, i am just trying to get a site's features fleshed out (see www.microtopianyc.org) and am so far behind on my personal life I could jump. If there is no docs page on this, a short explanation would do and would save my day. Here goes: -- I am using Superfish menus (Danland theme). I have an Events menu item that has Upcoming Events and Past Events child menu items. -- I have created a vocab called Events with two terms: Upcoming Events and Past Events -- for each term I have specified a URL: upcoming events is at "events/upcoming" and past events term is at "events/past" -- i go into Menus and try adding a submenu under Events with the url "events/past" for past events, for example, and click add. But no menu item is created and no error is reported. HELP. What I'm trying to do is to display upcoming events under the Upcoming Events menu item, and to display past Events under the Past Events menu item. Upcoming events should be sorted in date order, Past Events should be sorted in descending date order. Since the Date module seems to be in bad shape (I tried using it but it blew up my sandbox and I got no response to the issue I posted) I will use the publication date as a fake way of sorting the events the way I want them. I tried using Views but it does not seem I can create a view for a specific term, only for a whole vocabulary not a specific *term*. I am quite savvy & techie, just not a drupal admin/dev! I just need to be told or shown once and i'll get it. Thanks in advance if anyone can bail me out here. kazar

moving site and retaining permission

HI all -- I am singlehandedly building my first full-blown drupal site (using 7), rolling it out (for an art project that's already live), and testing additional modules and blocks etc. On the web server I have created a protected "sandbox" subdomain as my "test server". I am trying to find the easiest way to move the test files to the "production server" (i.e., out of the subdomain and into the TLD), and to move files back when I want to do more testing & development but using all the latest settings etc from the live site as my starting point. I have tried simple download/upload via ftp -- permissions all get screwed on the sites/defaults/files/xxx path I have tried gzip, download, upload tar -- the "sites" directory ends up empty it's a major drag to have to go into an ssh session to do chowns & chmods every time i move stuff back and forth. There must be an easier way. If the easier way involves straight CLI please be gentle, CLI still freaks me out thanks! kazar

add external news to my page

Hi there! I want to know how can I add news external news to my drupal (7 based) page, I know that exists modules like feeds but this module imports all news from other pages, I want to add only some news. Nivo Slider

Hi everyone, I have installed my Nivo slider and I have made it all they way to the point where when I am in Views i am setting the feild to "Views Nivo Slider" as instructed I set the title feild as "title" link feild as "link" and image feild as "image" after i do this the pictures in the example go from picture to the link. ONLY happend when I apply the "views nivo slider" to the "feilds" in views. If someone resolve my problem. I have set up the imagecashe and the content type properly Cheers, Kevin
