Bug in D7.2?

Hi, I wanted to add a calendar to my website, so I downloaded the calendar module. I watched this tutorial (http://www.drupaltherapy.com/date_d7#comment-2114) but for some reason the contextual filter, never shows me the custom date field I created. If I replace the filer by a new one (at that time I do see the custom field I created) no matter what I do I get the error: "The calendar_nav style requires a Date argument." This bug has been reported earlier on a forum, but supposedly was fixed. I tried various things like clearing the views cache and deleting all modules and enabling them again, but no luck. Surely I'm not the only one wanting to add a calendar to a site. Does anyone have an idea what I might try next? Regards, Darius

Editing the tpl works perfectly. For some reason I'd got so fixated on trying to do it through Views itself, I hadn't even considered the theme layer. Cloud pricing estimates

I am a free-lance web developer who often is asked to help people pick a hosting company. I believe cloud hosting is becoming mature and robust enough to seriously recommend it. In order for me to be able to give some reasonable recommendations, is there some way to estimate what their current usage is? Most of my customers currently use cPanel driven sites with pretty much standard tracking apps on them. Adding an optional row to a View

I have a view that works fine. It outputs a table with four columns in, one of which is a unique id. After some rows (which I know the id of), I'd like to add an extra row beneath. After row id 5, say, it would be <td colspan='4'>some text</td> and after row 10 <td colspan='4'>different text</td>. I know this is a bit of a pain of a requirement. Is there any way to do this in Views 2? I'd much rather use Views than hack up some custom code that does a db_query and loops through etc etc.

Careful with replies

Video in Drupal 7

I¹m new to Drupal and am working with Drupal 7. I¹ve created a custom content type to store videos. I have the Media and Video modules installed. I seem to have 2 options for working with video. First I used the Video module. It uploads and plays okay provided the file is less than 8 MB. I have changed the variable to 50 MB in the setup section, but it continues to only handle <8 MB. It also throws errors when the node is displayed in summary or full view, even though the video is displayed and plays. Second I tried the multimedia option for the Media module set for video. There are fewer settings. It goes through the process of uploading I think, but there nothing displayed for the video, just a question mark icon. It seems that the Video module is the best choice, but it is in early alpha for 7.x and has some problems. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Hello. Just closing this thread. Talking with the support of the ISP my VPS server is. Good guys by the way. We could not find why I can not install a second instance , new one, of Drupal and having work. I will stay with my production instance of Drupa 7.2 working only. NO way to make a second one until now. Will have to look other instances of CMS unfortunately. Thanks to all for your help. Jorge Biquez

git_deploy & workflow

Hi all, Time was I checked out modules/core from CVS and used cvs_deploy to ensure correct version info. Now we've moved over to git, one should use git_deploy. However I notice that it's a) at dev, and b) has only a small reported number of live sites. Do folk feel git_deploy's ok for live sites? If not, may I ask what people are doing instead? As a related question, do people feel it's worthwhile checking out from source control rather than just getting via the packager? When I first started using CVS it was to simplify the update process. However I now know about drush update, and wonder if there's any real advantage to sticking with my old ways? TIA, Andy . . . . . . . direct path to user's content profile?

Hello all, I have a menu-item called "my profile" that should point to the content profile part of the currently logged in user. Is there a way to simply set this in the path property of the menu item? Using tokens? If not, what is the best way to do this? Any help greatly appreciated! Best, Toon
