Tokens and Notifications

Hello Drupalites, I have an internal website used by various with the url https://staff.vpac.org/drupal6 I have the Messaging, Notifications and Tokens modules enabled so that users can subscribe to various posts. When however they receive mail about changes to such posts however tokens (I believe) parses the origin as being localhost rather than the URL specified above. Which creates links which don't work etc. Any assistance on how to fix this would be appreciated. I suspect it involves playing around with token_node.[module inc]. front page teasers

I have created a view called front_news and it displays the news as a teaser on the front page. I would like the front page to only display 2 posts and then go into a [1] [2] [3] type archive.... any idea on how to do this?

Drupal-7.4 theme isntallation

I use xampp under Ubuntu 11, I delete the xampp once(everything works fine before this deletion), after I unzipped the xampp again and put drupal-7.4 under the htdocs directory. some strange error happened: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- warning you are not using an encrypted connection, so your password will be sent in plain text, ---- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- when I use the administrator account this time: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Failed to connect to server. The server reports the following message:--------------------- Cannot connect to FTP Server check settings. -------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- any thoughts..... thanks.. this drupal setting almost kill me ....

Can't Upload Site Logo Drupal 7

Hi, I am installing a new site with Drupal 7, but facing some issues 1. There is no option to upload site logo in theme section 2. There is no working module to use real name to display on nodes. Is D7 still not ready for production site? -- <b>Swapnil Bhartiya</b><br>

Getting Page Title module to work

Hi, how do I get the module Page Title to work? I uploaded the module, enabled it, but I can't find anything to configure in the /admin/by-module section. multiple file transfers

Hello I have looked but can not find any easy way in Drupal to move many files back and forth between the client and server. Multiple file upload and download seems to be missing in Drupal core. Ideally there should be a simple file drag and drop module for moving files between client and server. Any modules cover this or is anything being worked on that would allow drag and drop of files and directories? Joe

Aegir

Been looking at Aegir on ubuntu 11 server, it seems like it makes drupal management easier, it this true or just another overhead? Is Aegir usefull or not for multi site and multiple site server? Has anyone installed drush and Aegir into Fedora 14? What are the gotchas to watch out for? Is it safe enough to change the aegir.sh installation file to point to Fedora paths? Thanks Roger

1) I don't see a reply to Mr. Metzler. 2) What we've said to you is 100% accurate. nivo slider permission

I have a nivo slider installed in drupal. It works when i am logged in but when you view the website without signing in no content displays. any suggestions?
