D7: content type field for url?

I was surprised not to find a default field setting for url when creating a new content type (Drupal 7). Is there a module that would provide this, something equivalent to the date module? Thanks, Ursula

content profile, node auto title, and usernames

Hello I am using content profile to permit admins of a site to store information about users. I have enabled node auto title to provide manditory titles for these content profile nodes. However, I would like to cause the username of the user for whom the node is created, to appear in the node's title, so that views on those nodes will be more helpful, and possibly for other reasons. Basically, I'm trying to do what this guy is trying to do: http://drupal.org/node/868874#content I'm willing to use PHP if necessary to make it happen, but I've no idea how to go about it. Thanks for any advice. Luke

File attachment without NID

The below code does file attachement without nid....I want this to be looped..as we get the "File Attachment option " in page content type when we enable the Upload module.. I am trying to do file upload without nid created.... Mutuku, I've had some good success importing custom nodes in D6 with the node_import module. However you may find you need to message the input data a bit, especially if there are special characters embedded anywhere. lost text format and posts

Hi, I disabled a text format in drupal 7, and seem to have lost all my articles. Is there a way to reenable this and get them back? Having gone through the disable one more time, I did read it a bit more carefully this time, and it does say: Disabled text formats are completely removed from the administrative interface, and any content stored with that format will not be displayed. This action cannot be undone I have a bad feeling about this, but surely a disable button implies, there's an enable button somewhere too? Thanks for any help. Ed.

Upload Progress Bar doesn't works in Drupal 7

Hello. I have a Drupal 7 installation with PECL uploadprogress in php. I have selected in "Progress indicator" the option "Bar with progress meter" but when I add content and upload a file, doens't works, only shows "Throbber" What's the problem? Thanks!

submitting date values to database using date_popup type form api

Hi, I have a form element called date in my module file like this .. $format='Y-m-d'; $form['date'] = array( '#type' => 'date_popup', '#title' => t(' Date'), '#date_format' => $format, ); date pop up Is coming fine and I can select date easily. Issue ahead me is to submit this date to database and show it in my edit form with default value which I submitted in databse. How I can submit this date to database (which is the better data type in table for this field? Is it int or date or datetime in mysql?) and retvieve it in Year-Month-date format to show on screen. I am new baby to drupal .Please help me guys. Mahi,

URL aliases, nodes, and Google Analytics...

Hello Drupalites, Apart from writing my own code, I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a module or equivalent that aggregates URL aliases and nodes for Google analytics. For example, our Google analytics report will list a number of hits to /node/180 and some others to /tutorials/abaqus (a tutorial). These are the same page, but Google analytics shows them as separate pages. It seems like this would be a regular problem, so I would be surprised if it hasn't been resolved before. Hi, I have tried everything, including Chrome dev tools to play with css properties, and still it doesn't work (including clear:none in :after). Did anyone (in D7) : - allow profile pics (which float to right by default in modules/user/user.css) - added a couple of fields to users (like name surname) - use a theme that keeps profile pics floated-to-the-right (like Marinelli, Danland, but not Bartik) and manage to not have a vertical gap between the 1st and 2nd filelds in user profile equal to the height of the picture, like the attached screenshot in my original mail below ? I am using those themes as is, no modifications, I think it does not have anything to do with the theme actually. I am guessing it is about THE clearfix class in system.base.css (which is apparently a fundamental fix being used everywhere in drupal. see http://perishablepress.com/press/2009/12/06/new-clearfix-hack, so probably I should not mess with clearfix, but then user profiles look very stupid).
