Creating a "My Account" Link that Goes to user/<uid>/edit

Hi, Can't believe I can't think how to do this... I want a "My Account" primary menu link that goes to: /user/<uid>/edit as opposed to just the normal: /user I tried using "user/%/edit" as the menu path but it didn't work. Thanks in advance for the help, Shai

Cron problems

Hello, When I try to run cron (admin/reports/status/run-cron) I get an access denied error, even if I'm logged in as admin. If I ssh to the site and run "php cron.php" I get an HTML page output followed by the error: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function sendError() in <drupal-path>/includes/common.inc(1685) : eval()'d code on line 7 The HTML output is basically the same "access denied" error page. I don't know if the PHP Fatal error is related to the access denied error (though it looks pretty bad...). Help? Any ideas? Issue after updating CCK field using sql update query

Hi, I have updated a field in a cck table (content_type_resource) using sql. The update executed successfully. However, upon accessing the node via a web browser, the updated values seem to get replaced by NULL. Anyone notice this behavior in Drupal 6 before? -v

Import data into existing nodes

Hello all, I was wondering if anybody knows a way (a module or an already existing script) to import data into new fields for existing nodes. In other words, I have already several nodes, and what I wanted to do is to create a new field on them and import data from a cvs to them. Menu tabs question

Ok, possibly silly question. D6. I'm using content_profile.module for my user profiles. Using pathauto, I've aliased profiles, /user/$username to /member/$username. On the profile pages, I obviously have "profile" and "edit" tabs at the top. I'd like to add some views (friends list, etc) to the profile, putting additional tabs up there alongside the ones that exist. I've tried: 1) Make the path of the view /user/%/friends. The view works just fine, and the tab appears, but that url doesn't keep the same structure that I want on all "/user" pages -- starting with "/member" 2) Make the path of the view /member/%/friends. The view works, but the tab doesn't appear on the profile page's menu, since we're (technically) at /user/x. Leaving the path as /member/%/friends and manually inserting the menu item in template.php would work, but then when you're on the view (when you're at /member/%/friends), the other tabs in the menu wouldn't appear. tl;dr version: Need to add more tabs to a pathauto'd page while keeping the aliased path structure, but the menu system seems to look at the real path, not the aliased path. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, -D

Adding users, comments and fivestar ratings directly to the database

Hi, I am working on making my ROR(ruby on rails) application work with a drupal install. The user can add comments and ratings via both drupal interface as well as the ROR application. How should i go about it? I have made some headway in adding comments. How can we add drupal users directly to the database. The 'data' field in users table seems somewhat tricky. Anything else that i need to take care of? Also how do i add fivestar(drupal rating plugin) ratings directly from my ROR application. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Amit Saxena

Node access in Views

I'm using Node access to keep some content types restricted to certain roles. I need to show nodes from both public and roles-restricted content types in a view, but in a way so that only public nodes show up for public users, and all appear to users with special roles. I know I can do it using 2 different views displays and restrict access to whole views, but I was wondering if it can be done in the same display, show the view to everyone but restrict the list of nodes according to Node Access. btw what is the difference between Node Access and Content Access modules?
