Create header for the aggregator page

Hi all. I want to write some lines (a description of the page and a link to how add users RSS to this page) at the top of the page that drupal create for the aggregator items. Is this possible ? I have modified via phptemplate_aggregator_page_item() how the aggrator items are cretated in the page. Tnx for all. auto-populating profile field with ldap attribute

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to auto-populate a profile field with an LDAP attribute. For example, their first name. Or just their name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sarah

There is a site called Qpodder that I belong to which is what got me interested in Drupal, because it is run with Drupal. Ever since I've been a member of that site, I've found that the HTML is kinda funky. I've just take some static HTML from a static web-site and pasted it into a Page node. The whole thing is broken up ... when I look at the HTML by itself in Eclipse .. the page is drawn correctly and all the text is wrapped correctly like it would be in a standard HTML page. When I put this HTML in a Page node ... it's all messed up. The lines of text should automatically be pulled together ... but it's all over the place. The <br/> tag adds the line-feed/return properyl .... but if that string of text is already on a new line ... then I have an extra line added. Is there some setting I can fix to change this behavior? search: issues with PostgreSQL

Hi, I'm running drupal 5.5 with PostgreSQL 8.2.5 on a windows box. I enabled the search module form core and in general, the search works. However as soon as I enter a string with umlauts into the search field (e.g. "Bär"), I'm getting a bunch of error messages which are all more or less like: warning: pg_query() [function.pg-query]: Query failed: ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0xe47220 HINT: This error can also happen if the byte sequence does not match the encoding expected by the server, which is controlled by "client_encoding". in D:\Websites\Stiegele\includes\database.pgsql.inc on line 125. user warning: query: SELECT src FROM url_alias WHERE dst = 'de/search/node/B�r ' in D:\Websites\Stiegele\includes\database.pgsql.inc on line 144. The pg_client_encoding of my PostgreSQL database is set to UTF-8, I just checked this with "select pg_client_encoding();". The charset of my web pages is uft-8, too: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> Any advice on how to get rid of these errors is appreciated. Regards Andreas

image not showin' on CSV Views Export

Hello, I need a CSV for exporting a view to another syste, I need to put the image link on the CSV, and it isn't showin'.. How can I arrange it? foto1 is the Image CCK field. I tried with thickbox options, predefined, group and not group multiple values... Permanently Disable 'Read More'

I've been researching disabling 'Read More' so I can display the entire content without this message. I've put the "" at the end of my page content node, and now it appears there ... all though there is content after it ... I've also change the post settings to "Unlimited" Maybe I should just change node.tpl.php to just dump content, and remove the logic in there that shows 'Read More' Thanks! Tom

Views depending of the node

Hello all! I have a CCK that defines an "article". One of its fields is "related_terms" (taxonomy). Other is "related_articles". It will be a select that only lists articles with related terms similar to the related terms of the node. Is it possible to do that?. I see two problems here: 1) how to define a view that depends on something variable 2) what does it happen if we modify the data in the related terms fields Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks. I am really hoping to avoid using CiviCRM to accomplish this simple task. Seems like overkill and difficult for the client to manage. Perhaps Ubercart would be easier. Ecommerce Free Text Input "Attribute"

I am certain that this question has been asked before, but I can't find the answer. I am just now starting a new estore and we need to allow open text inputs for products, so users can send us their name to be monogrammed, for example. I don't see a way to do this with ecommerce. I would be willing to switch to ubercart if it has this, but last time I looked it I don't recall seeing it. Is this doable with either? Thanks.
