Pay for Event

We have a site with Event and Signup installed. Is there a simple way to allow people who have signed up for an event to pay for it via PayPal? I've looked at the PayPal related modules, but it's not clear any of them are appropriate. I looked at Fee, but the description says it assumes the entire site is for a single event. Seems like this would be a natural thing for many sites to want to do. What am I missing?

Create node with argument?

Hello, I have a content type eith a related node CCK. I wanna access a create node with an argument telling the nid of the refered node. I tried to apply a php code to the default Value without luck. Trying to edit nodes without being admin

Hello all! I have a rol that can edit nodes. If I check the "administer nodes" options, he can go to content, administer content, list of nodes, edit node... fine. But "administer nodes" is more that we need. We need that he only can edit this type of node, no more. We've checked the edit option, but we don't need the option in the web. What am I doing wrong? Rich Text Editor for Category Description

Is there any way to create a rich text editor on the "Description:" field of the edit taxonomy term page, i.e.: /admin/content/taxonomy/edit/term/xx ? I see no ready-to-go way, but one my clients wants this--we display this description on the page and he wants to edit the text there with styling etc. Thanks.

access denied page

Hi all. This is what I'm trying to achieve. - If the user is not logged in and they try to access a private page, they are taken to the login page. - If the user is logged in and they try to access a page they can't access, they are taken to an "access denied" page. The first seems easy enough. I just changed the "Default 403 page" to user/login. But, I can't figure out the second. Any ideas?

Strategy Help Needed for Link Rolls

Drupal Supportians, My preferred method for links pages is to keep my links on Del.icio.us and use their awesome link rolling wizard: http://del.icio.us/help/linkrolls. However, it just occurred to me that re: Technorati, Google, etc, that these links being dynamically generated from Del.icio.us may not be registering as links on our site that increase "authority" in the case of Technorati or help with SEO for those sites re: Google. 1. Can anyone confirm that indeed, links generated dynamically via the del.icio.us link wizard don't generate "real" links on the site in terms of Technorati and Google? 2. How do you do link rolls on your site? Shai

how to save and use date/time field?

My module need to save, display or edit, and do some compare of date field (like ending of periode). On my windods, it work perfectly. But on the server, it foward next 15 hours. I wander, how drupal(php) keep the value? Is just the epoch, or with timezone? Must I manually substract 15 of all my data before process? Any easy solution? Pipit. pipit @ http://pipit.web.id

Change Node Display

Ok ... so now that I have a working, stable copy of Drupal 5.5 on Resin 3.1.4, now I can start learning Drupal again. Now .... if everyone has lost patience with me ... I have a Post Installation question to ask .... maybe a couple ... And all you have to to is point me in the right direction, or ask me for any more information that is needed. So, I created a new content type with cck, the date field, image field, and link field .... no problem whatsoever. For some reason I can't search for the Node, I get some SQL error message .. but that's ok ... not a big problem. I presume the one and only node I created is not indexed yet .... I'll experiment with that ... besides I have a lot of data to import anyway. I guess my question (finally) is: Are all content type nodes viewed with the same theme or php code, because obviously different content types have different fields. I would like to change the way content in a node is displayed for different content types, is this possible and can you point me to the right place? Thanks! Tom
