room booking

Hi, I'm in desperate need of booking functionality for the website I'm building. They need to be able to book rooms and offices on a pr. hour basis, and I haven't found a module that does this. There's the fairly new open resort booking module, but it doesn't work with hours only whole days and its probably overkill anyway for the few features I need. Does anyone know how I could build a simple booking page with existing modules - I was thinking a combination of events/calendar/cck perhaps? I have tried but haven't really any success. thanks Morten

The best place to edit the node title?

Hello, Where is the best place for a module/theme to edit the node title? I would like to prepend the node type to the title input by the user. I have custom node types created with hook_*(). I tried to set $node->title in hook_view(), but it doesn't affect anything. Changing the node title at the theme level seems a bit clumsy: too much php and sql queries would be needed there. I'm trying to get the successful login page to redirect to other pages than the uesr profile page - but the menu item says "locked" and I can't find a setting for it. Can I use something like taxonomy_redirect for this? Ideally it would be configurable per role - so an extranet user would go to an extranet page where an intranet user would go to an intranet page.

I am just wondering if there is a module that would calculate the total of fields in different views. For instance if I had time tracked in one field can I create a few that shows all the entries and then calculates the total of those fields? Thanks, -- Chris McCreery

Edit permission in forums posts

Drupal 5.1, with Taxonomy Access, Per-node access and normal access control. I seem to be unable to deny edit permission to my users for forum posts. That is, except for anonymous and authenticated users without any role, all other roles can edit own and other's posts. I've tried everything, like reproducing the authenticated users permissions in Taxonomy Access and per-node access to all roles except admin, but still: just authenticated have the right permissions but users with roles can edit any forum post. Is there any other place defining these permissions that I'm overlooking? -- Walter Garcia-Fontes Barcelona

Location Module

Anyone have any experience with the location module, or any other custom search modules? It works perfectly (well I'd like the option to limit a search to a specific content type so I can use it for 3 different types of content and have it return results only for the one i'm searching for). But it doesn't come with a module like the search module so that I can add a search box into a region. I know that I can't just create a form and drop it in a block because I need to have a form token - but that's about all I know. Any pointers for what I do need to do to create this block? thanks .sander

This is really vague, sorry, but I know someone has done it. I remember seeing a demo of it some time ago. It might be worth a look through the modules page to see if you can find it.
