Dear all,
Our drupal site is installed on a remote server.
This afternoon i installed few Drupal modules (internationalization and variables). After activation of those modules, i noticed that my admin menu (content/structure/configuration/users,....) had disapeared.
I don't know why. According to you, is there a way to recover the admin menu?
I'm very annoyed by this problem.
In advance ,thank you very much for your help.
With kind regards.

Dear all,
I wanted to thank everybody for your reply and your help. I downloaded the new version of the administration module. Thank to your help i succeed to activate the menu admin in tapping /admin/modules.
The menu admin reappeared ;-) But I have not yet dared to clear my cache. Is not risky?. You think I can really click on "clear on cache"?
THank you.

By visiting admin/modules, you cleared the cache without knowing it. There are several things in Drupal that clear the cache or portions of it (them), automatically.
No, clearing the cache is not risky. On a typical day of development, I probably do it at least a half dozen times. That's one of the great things about the Admin Menu (and one of the reasons I hate the core Toolbar). Any time something weird happens in Drupal, clearing the cache is the first thing to try. Just don't do it often on a live site because it does have performance implications.

And be sure you are logged in other than anonymous. (http://website/user).
I have sort of the opposite problem. When I'm logged out, I still have the black menu with just "login" as an option. It used to disappear which is what I want. My regular users will be anonymous and I don't want them to see the black menu at all.
It happened when I disabled a module that had a custom menu from last project. This client wants superfish. Thanks.

Philip,
To make that disappear, you need to clear the permissions of Toolbar module. On 23 Jan 2014 21:06, Philip_Wetzel@nhd.uscourts.gov wrote:

Check your permissions. Assuming you are using the stock drupal administration toolbar, you want to remove the 'Use the administration toolbar" right from the anonymous user.

Thanks.

You can directly type /admin/modules and enable from there. On 23 Jan 2014 22:23, lcelati@latitude-geosystems.com wrote:

No. Superfish is not required by either the Admin_Menu nor the core Toolbar modules.
