Image node problem

All the sudden, all the image nodes are spitting out this error wherever the image is used: * warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open 'sites/ default/files/images/<filename>.thumbnail.jpg' for writing in /includes/ image.inc on line 321. * Unable to create scaled thumbnail image The only way to remedy this, I found so far, is to reupload each images to the node. Problem with views_fusion

Hi All, I'm trying to using the views_fusion to "add" a image's to forums. I've created a relation that forum is parent to image. I've tried with various views but to test I've create two really simple views. Both views are Table views, one only shows the Node Title (as link) and Node Type and filters to show only Node Type Is One Of Forum and the other view shows Node Title (as link), Image (Image with link) and Node Type and filters to show only Node Type Is One Of Image. Both views works as expected by them self but when fusion them it shows: Forum name Type Image name Image Type -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forum1 Forum Image1 Image Forum1 Forum Image2 Image Forum2 Forum Image3 Image and the image names are links to the forums, not links to the images! I've tried to do it the other way around, ie image-view as primary view and reversed relations with similar result. Any ideas what's wrong and how to solve it? I'm running Drupal 5.1, Image 1.1, Image field 1.1, Node family 1.3, Views 1.6-beta5 and Views Fusion 1.2. I have the develop module and can send SQL querys if that helps. Saving a node with drupal_execute - changing node's owner

I'm using drupal_execute() to save a CCK node. I'm trying to save the node on behalf of a different user (different than the current user). However, I don't manage to set the ownership of the node. Was anyone able to do such a thing? This is how I try to do it: $title = 'The node's '; $name = 'usernameA'; // the owner ti be, not the current user $uid = 23; // the user's uid $node = array('type' => 'article', 'uid'=>$uid,'name'=>'$name'); drupal_execute('organization_node_form',array('title'=>$title,'op'=>'submit'),$node); What I get is a node with an anonymous owner... Permission problem

It seems I have a permission problem I can't remedy. This is Video module, which isn't working. When I realized, I see it produced a directory: /sites/default/files/videos/ This directory owner and group are set to 99/99. It even doesn't accept chown/chmod even from Cpanel, and I can't upload files there. How did this happen, and how can I remedy this? Possible to have php t() strings in standard node content?

I have the following in a standard page node: <?php print t('Russ and Scotty.') ?> Usually, strings like this are searchable and translatable in Localization module after a short time, but this one is not appearing after hours. Is it the case that only strings outside of standard node content can be searched for and translated? Like in menus and module content (edit screens, for example) I have a node which I was hoping to put into php text strings for translation but perhaps it's impossible. Has anyone done anything similar? Neil

Trying for a custom block

Hi again :-) This is Garland theme. I need to create a sidebar block which contains 4 images, Amazon.com, iTunes Store, CDBaby, and FakeScience, which links to their pages of my CDs directly with target="_blank". After many trial and error, I created a page which contains all 4 images with HTML to jump, then used View to the node title. It shows up to the block where I want, but there are a few problems. 1) For the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove "Read more". 2) This block screws up the layout so horizontal scrollbar appears no matter how narrow I make its content _only when_ I place it to the right sidebar, while left sidebar is OK but that's not where I want. Sorry, it was a caching issue. I feel a fool! However, the problem with a perfectly legit jpg file being rejected stands. How do you stop info on search result?

Impossible to delete user picture

I am having an odd problem with user pictures. I uploaded one, let's call it Picture A. I then deleted it and my user pic disappeared. As expected. I then tried to upload another jpg image and got the message "the uploaded image was not an image". So then I tried another and Picture A appeared again. So I went to files/pictures and manually deleted it and ran through the previous two stages again with exactly the same results. One jpg got rejected as not being an image and magically, Picture A reappeared again. I am using simply Upload module and have never seen such malfunctioning with core modules. Has anyone seen anything similar before? Neil
