Javascript in Drupal-Pages

Inserting php block snippet into a standard node

I am creating a dynamic newsletter using the simplenews module and php block snippets. I've got the overall mechanics working well. I create the newsletter, say /newsletter/05-may-07 which has standard header and footer text which goes out to every person. Then my idea is to insert location-based content into it so that Jane from Texas sees "Last five members from Texas", "Last five posts from Houston", "Five members who go to your school" and so on. Chris from London would see different content. The problem I've hit though is that when I insert the block snippet into the node, choose PHP as input format and press "Submit", none of the content below the snippet shows. Here is my snippet: <?php global $user; $result=db_query("SELECT dru_users.uid, dru_users.init FROM dru_users WHERE (dru_users.uid = $user->uid)"); while ($u = db_fetch_object($result)) { $items[]=l($u->init, "user/" . $u->uid); } return theme('item_list',$items); ?> This is just a test snippet to test the concept....in a block, it shows the current user's e-mail address. It also does this in a node, but as I say, the rest of the content below this code doesn't come through. Any idea what the problem is?

nodeaccess assist?

Is there a way to set nodeaccess grants to be default for a particular node type? I have a situation in which I want users to be able to create content, and then only the creating user and a particular group will have access to the content. Nodeaccess pretty much fits the bill, but the grants are only made available globally, rather than being actually set. As described here: http://drupal.org/node/139821

How can one list all nodes that have been added since a uid's last login? Which table contains the login information?

Best way to add reviews/rating (like amazon) to content?

Hello, I'm developing a website for a library. One thing that they'd like to have is a section that staff can add new materials. (books, dvd's, cd's) Then, patrons would be able to view those items and give them a rating and a review. I've seen several different modules for voting, but what's the best way to go about this? - jody

Hi, I have a problem with views. I try to create a hook_views_tables() to filter the webforms submitted by the current user. It's working, but when I try to show the webforms not submitted by the current user, it doesn't show anything (just empty text). The code: 'filters' => array( 'currentuid' => array( 'field' => 'user', 'name' => t('Webform: Submited by the Current User'), 'operator' => 'views_handler_operator_eqneq', 'list' => 'views_handler_filter_usercurrent', 'list-type' => 'select', 'help' => t('This allows you to filter by whether or not the logged in user submited the webform node.'), ), Any suggestion? -- Aries

single login for drupal + phpbb forums?

hi all, we have a thriving forum on phbb with lots of bells and whistles that our members love. we also are running a drupal site. the problem is of course that there are two logins and two usernames/passwords. this confuses a lot of people. we would like to have a single login. our options seem to be ditch the phpbb and port the forums to drupal. our hesitation is that the drupal forums, without major and expensive development, will not look or feel or have the features our members love, and even with major and expensive development still might not look or feel right or do what we need them to do. the other option is some kind of joint login authentication system, shared user database or something... does anyone have any idea how to implement such a thing? thanks! -- will hall theicarusproject.net

Different nodes in same page

Hi there, What I need to know is if there is any way to keep several menus, and in each menu be able to list all nodes relating to it. Like it happens in drupal main page when content is inserted. Thank you, Pedro A.
