select all / mass handling of content in views?

Hi, I'm interested in being able to view all content, or view by search criteria, and then to perform mass action on content.. e.g. browse/filter my way toward a list of pages with the same term, select all or some of them, and then add some more terms to them or delete them. Any guidance on achieving this much appreciated. The admin/content/node page is quite good for this, but it does not let me view enough results at a time - can this be changed? If not there, then the "views" module seems to be the place for it, but so far I have not seen a feature to create the select and select/all boxes feature and a filter like in admin/content/node - does that exist? Thanks guys for the help , I did try to do convert a chameleon theme with quiet good results http://virtuallyjewish.com/manuediting/ but I think for a complete change there are some .css outside of theme to be changed (for example the thin line the supposed to separate the left (well now it's right) column. Zohar as you said it will be great to have a core RTL in Drupal 6 and be able to use all those great themes straight away. -- Emmanuel

A View of the Views

Sorry for the repost. I would like to rephrase the question since I need to move forward. I have a few Views. They shows up from each menu obj nicely. Now I need to create a parent View to list only the titles of each Views as well as the titles of the nodes under each Views, like an index of a section. I can't figure out how to do this. Adding custom menus as submenus

Hi, I want to add a custom menu i have created called "the person" and later another menu called "the business" as an expandable sub menu to "primary links". I tried adding the menu as a new menu from the "menus" page, but then i couldn't get it expandable/colapsable and i could move it by placing weight on it, but not where i wanted it, which is under primary links. Is this something i'll have to have a completely different menu making module for or can you do it with the existing module? I want to be able to expand menus by clicking the parent link so as to avoid clutter. Did that make sence? Any help much appreciated. /Krister

How to disable a wrong block when the site doesn't work

Hi Following a suggestion from a developer, I just added a PHP block to my site's default theme, and now the site cannot be accessed Fatal error: Call to undefined function: stock_do_quote() in /home/canalpda/public_html/includes/common.inc(1342) : eval()'d code on line 2 I need to disable that new block so everything works again. How can I access the site admin, probably using another theme or no theme at all so the bad block is disabled? OG or something else?

I'm helping build an "internal" site for the families and staff of a small, parent run school. I'm looking for some suggestions on how to implement the following structure. The site I'm developing will have a number of working groups who will collaborate via the site -- an obvious use for Organic Groups. Another section of the site will allow families (students, parents, guardians) to post pages about themselves to help build the social network and fabric of the school. Each family's pages should be controlled and edited only by them. Again, Organic Groups *could* do the job here, but I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestion to implement perhaps a My Space-like section for the families? Thanks for any suggestions, especially for modules which might help out. ..chrisxj

Newbee: How should I plan this?

I am still far from being comfortable with Drupal. Here is a problem case I need to solve. I have huge list of musicians who have played for my past gigs and recordings. Many of them has their own website. Some of them will be listed for future shows. I would like to create 3 sections, Discography, Musicians, and Schedule, where I want to call names from the list of musicians along with its hyperlink for their site. I've got CCK and View, but I am not certain how I should plan this. It doesn't matter to Drupal. When they're installed, CCK finds them. I find it nicer to put them as subfolders in the CCK folder just so _I_ can remember what they're for and which ones I have easily. From what I can tell from a quick look at your site, I think it would be a pretty simple task and probably open your site up to a few basic features that will make your life easier. Your site is as straight forward of a conversion as they get. Between the standard node system for publishing new articles, and maybe taking advantage of the member and profile modules, you'll cut back a lot of your administration. The addition of the standard Drupal RSS will also help you push your content further out. Posting photos to your articles would get easier as well, with the CCK or just plain Image (with image_attach) modules. Posting new content to the site will feel just like writing an email if you build it right. But I can't comment on Hebrew text generation. I have never used Drupal to publish right-left text.
